"Horror in the Pacific" is praised for its compelling cosmic horror narrative, immersive text adventure format, and well-designed puzzle challenges. Players appreciate its user-friendly interface enhancements like maps and action buttons that aid navigation and reduce tedium. The inclusion of multiple endings and roles adds replayability. However, some find certain puzzles unintuitive or frustrating, and backtracking between locations can feel repetitive. A few reports mention story glitches that may halt progress, and some feel the game's choices lack impact. Overall, fans recommend it, especially when played in series order, noting its fair monetization approach.

Most other text based adventure games just use fantasy setting and I am not in the mood for that. Thank you for providing one with a more modern setting. Looking forward to play the other ones by you.

An interesting text adventure that creeps you out sometimes. I am glad you set buttons for general actions to remove the tediousness of typing! The map is also a big, big help for people who get lost easily. I think having fast travel as a premium choice was a good idea to try to make people pay. While not too annoying, it still is a bother to backtrack to specific places.
