It's an acceptable app. Finding podcasts is easy and I like the lack of commenting function. However, playback is very buggy. Podcasts take a long time to load & start playing. You often have to repeatedly click on them to get them to work between "Waiting for audio" loading screens and crashing out to the homepage. When clicking on a podcast channel, it seems to try to populate every single episode by that channel. This means that pods with tons of episodes take FOREVER to show up.

After at least 3 weeks of the app not loading, it's working again. I enjoy this app. It's intuitive and easy to use. The preferences are useful. One change from the last few months that I'm not fond of is how the subscriptions are sorted. They used to be based on when you added them, but now they change and I haven't quite figured out the new sort order. Maybe by when the last new podcast was released? It takes longer to find the one I'm looking for because it's in a different order each time.

Still having a major problem, at least with android phones. Users essentially cannot turn the app off. You have to use "force close" in (Android/ Samsung device) settings to reliably turn it off. Even with the app closed, audio will spontaneously play from where you paused (or where you thought you closed the app). There is a "pause" function, there is no "off". I'm sure this is intended as bookmark feature, but the lack of user controls on some devices is fatal.

Very well designed app, once you figure out the menus. Navigating around them is a bit confusing even with practice. The other glitch is that it does not do a great job of telling you what episodes you have finished. In many cases I finish one but it is not marked as such. I thought the app was good enough to purchase the ad free version. I removed a star since the app no longer finds and downloads URL feeds from paid subscriptions. Each week I have to reenter the URL. I switched apps.

I decided to use this app because it was included in Play Pass, which is supposed to keep me from having to listen to advertisements. It's not working with this app. But, the real issue is that the podcast I want to listen to plays for about 2 or 3 minutes and pauses. It is pretty inconvenient to have to keep starting it over again. I looked for an update, but there isn't one since I downloaded it. I will be uninstalling it and going back to the app I have been using, which also has more option

Used to use for years. Ease of use is incredible. But the random skips to the beginning and stopping makes the app useless when trying to do anything while listening (which is what we ALL use them for). Absolute waste of time. The biggest thing is the complete inability to organize podcasts and have it stay. More wasted time. Nope.

Used this app for quite some time now. Just recently it has started to turn to utter garbage. The app constantly crashes when paused, losing your spot in the podcast you were listening to. Also when switching between bluetooth in my vehicle, to earbuds, or vice versa it crashes as well. Everything is up to date, and have even tried re-installing a few times. Looks like this is another app for the garbage can.

I like the Simplicity and I like the look. However it's difficult to figure out what podcast you actually subscribe to. They're not listed on the home screen or if they are there buried with many other possible podcast options that you are not subscribed to. This is the only podcast player I've ever found that does not have and intuitive way to manage your podcasts.

I think my requirements for a podcast app are pretty simple, yet no one seems to meet them.: 1) ability to type a RSS URL if needed. 2) ability to auto download. 3) ability to auto delete after playing/ 4) works with Android Auto. At first glance, it seemed like Podcast Go might... but no. It needs a way to autodelete podcasts once they are listened to. And, in fact, Podcast Go is so annoying in the way it deals with "listened" casts that I just cannot take it any more. If I listen to a podcast and want it out of my sight: (1) I deleted it from "downloaded". (2) I remove it from "my podcasts". (3) I remove it form "unfinished". (Why in the world is a finished podcast in a list of unfinished podcasts?!?!) (4) I remove it from "downloaded." Deleting it STILL leaves it in that list. (5) Hey look. It is BACK in "unfinished". I remove it again. (6) I remove it from "new" podcasts. (7) Hey look. It is BACK in "downloaded" list. I remove it again. (8) Hey look. It is BACK in "unfinished" list. I remove it again. (9) Hey look. It is BACK in "downloaded" list. I remove it again. (10) Give up. I've removed and/or deleted this podcast episode 9 times and it still keeps popping up. Delete app.

Consistently uses a large amount of data each month, even though I only listen to podcasts I've downloaded over Wi-Fi. Have not been able to determine what's causing the issue, but the only resolution I've found is to listen in airplane mode. That's not ideal for me to miss all other notifications during my morning train commute.
