2025-01-21 | Very bad experience with putting in payment details. The old app was closed without notice and when i downloaded this and tried to put my card in, it was arbitrarily rejected. I had to contact them and they sorted it out but that was still a couple of days of unnecessary hassle. Combined with the fact that the app is right now transitioning to a new payment service with very little details on how it'll work and just asking to register more payment methods and deleting existing methods.
2024-12-28 | Tried 3 different credit cards when asked to add payment method, but all resulted in an error.
2024-12-20 | New: There is way too many failed attempts to buy a ticket. Then I try again and it fails again because the previous purchase is ongoing. š Old: Good but not great. It needs "add to cart" feature when I need to buy multiple tickets (when I have visitors). Currently, I have to buy one by one. I can't use this app to rent a car because identity verification doesn't work with Aufenthaltstitel. š«£
2024-12-13 | App is not accepting cards from different banks as payment method. Impossible to fully activate account without adding such method.
2024-12-12 | Worst app ever. 1 star is too high for it. Bought a ticket and got a fine anyway, the stupid app registered the wrong departure location, by 7km.
2024-11-30 | The app is useful, but i have problems with following: to enter exact address i have to use "number street" sequence - this will show proper tipps. And impossible to find a bus station on the map, to use map to navigate walking beteen the transport stops. Only big map is not convenient. App requires TOO MUCH PERSONAL INFORMATION for add a payment method. For paypal i need only user/pass. But here i need to add gender, birthday etc. this is wrong and against GDPR
2024-11-22 | If all of your payment methods are declined, you are not alone. Unfortunately, the app uses the abysmal German payment provider LOGPAY. The payment provider does not work for the supposedly accepted cards, only for PayPal account holders. LOGPAY does not respond to support requests. TrustPilot shows the payment provider threatens customers with unfounded debt damage requests. Why would so many German public transport apps use the dysfunctional payment provider subsidiary of Volkswagen? FIX IT.
2024-10-27 | I have been trying for more than one month to add a payment method and it keeps being rejected. I already tried with a credit card and 3 different debit cards. I also wrote to Logpay and did not get a reply after 3 weeks
2024-09-29 | You can't pay here because you get this error on every payment: REG.V1.03: Your payment method registration has been declined. Please contact LOGPAY Support. Of course logpay support doesn't respond, typical German "service".
2024-08-29 | Iāve been trying to switch from the old BVG app to Jelbi, using both occasionally, though Jelbi less often. Jelbi feels busy, especially on the map, and has a learning curve. I miss the old appās simplicity and reliable PayPal sync. I didnāt use it for connections (Google Maps is better), just to double-check routes, obstacles, and changes. Improving map accessibility would be important, especially for an ADHD brain. Currently, it's too overwhelming, especially for frequent use. |
