2025-01-31 | Both the app and the website are extremely buggy, to the point it's nearly impossible to place an order. Using the app constantly throws errors at me every time I try to do something, and whether I place an order online or through the app I have to try 4-5 times before the order goes through and doesn't get canceled. Jfc get it together. | ||

And if the item is on sale and you look at color options, it glitches and gets stuck on one color no matter which one you choose. The app has been doing that for over two years. Separately, as a long-time customer, they suddenly decide to cancel any pick-up order I place with just a generic explanation suggesting the store is out-of-stock of the item, yet when calling the store, they definitely have it in stock. Customer Support then says there's a verification issue after all these years of in-person, online, and pick-up orders, and it'll take a few days for the associated team to get back to me (I'll never hear back). | ||
2024-12-28 | I'm really sick and tired of clicking on items and them being out of stock. Have a function on YOUR END to automatically remove the items from your shopping pages when it sells out. You have more than enough money to hire engineers for that fix. Irritating. Also, only being able to apply 2 gift cards at a time or call customer service and have to WAIT AND SPEAK WITH SOMEONE is Irritating all in itself and an absolute pain in the arse. You're a billion dollar company, GET IT TOGETHER!!! | ||

All shopping platforms need to study Sephora's search system. Also, this is not an "app" complaint perse...prices have grown to be OUTRAGEOUS. Sale prices are even high. 2024-11-02 | The app is so buggy, I just use the website. One really annoying bug is if you're on a product detail screen and you click another variant, you cannot go back to the first variant. You need to back out and then go back in. It's awful. This is a very obvious bug that if their QA or devs tried to use that screen they'd see it. I'm assuming they have no devs that use the android app. This app seems neglected. | ||
2024-10-27 | Can't login. Can't reset my PW through the app. Keep getting the same error message. I contacted customer service through the app chat. After their rep insisted that I must be repeatedly clicking the link to set up a new account instead of resetting the PW (I wasn't 😕), they said they sent multiple emails to reset my password which never arrived. It really should not be this hard to make a purchase (and with Ulta, I never have these kinds of problems). | ||
2024-09-28 | My cart keeps clearing out. I'm trying to place a large order and Sephora allows for 90 items max in your cart. Since I have so many items in my cart, I've been taking my time reviewing it to make sure I don't have duplicates which takes a lot of time and then eventually after about a few hours, my entire cart gets cleared. Happened twice within the past day and it's so frustrating trying to hunt down all 90 items again. I saved them in my loves as well, but that's also getting cleared. | ||
2024-09-01 | I absolutely adore Sephora. It is one of my favorite places to shop at and I end up spending all my money there. The problem is the app is very glitchy. For one I wish they would fix the filter function when reading reviews. I can't search reviews by shades now and all the other search categories glitch out on me. I find that Sephora is a great store, but for how popular it's gotten the app should be more innovative/smooth for users. | ||
2024-08-06 | Keep getting logged out. I love the app but recently I can't go to my app only new releases or more than a few pages without being prompted to log in again. It's making it impossible to use the app. I've tried changing passwords, uninstall/reinstall, and nothing fixes it. Please help! What's the point of being VIB with same day delivery if I can't access those perks? Also, the shipping times have increased so much- a regular order used to ship 1-3 days,now it's weeks! Please fix it! |
