I genuinely enjoy this app, from my experience it's the best Music Player App for someone like me. I have a lot of music tracks (~5600 and counting) and the features it includes helps sort them out easily. I also enjoy the Gapless Playback feature, however it's for this reason I'm rating it the way that I am. There was an update that claimed to fix a random pausing issue with it for Pixel users however it's still present unfortunately. (This only occured once I updated to Android 15 recently)

Pulsar does great! at the main task: playing the tracks in a playlist. It does pretty well at the ancillary task of displaying album-art: changing art seems a little more difficult than I'd prefer; but seldom necessary. A recent convert due to my music app of many years suddenly frequently malfunctioning. Not all bad: Pulsar sounds better! My most recent tracklist has >55,000 entries. Many apps I tried could not accommodate that at all. Others didn't do a plain-text tracklist at all.
