Use Google, nope. Create account? Nope. Spinning Spinning Spinning...updated review...Fifth time worked. App is not intuitive. Clunky. Sparse on details. |
| 2025-01-26 |  | | Stop the spam notifications! used to work well with just our washer/dryer, but when we added new microwave and oven, i get multiple alerts daily about exploring festures etc, with nothing satisfying those requests. Even deselecting all but the most basic notification options doesn't stop them, so i just had to disable notifications for the whole app in the phone settings. |

Then the washing machine. And now the dishwasher. The app connects fine, can see the appliance running, can tell you the history, but it will NOT alert on multiple phones. We've tried reinstall, reconfigure, everything we can think of. Notifications used to be solid. Then they were spotty from time to time. Now... nothing. |

For example I get a notification daily that, "Get a head start and preheat your oven with the ThinQ app while you're still out buying your groceries". Maybe there is an option to tailor your notifications but it's buried somewhere unintuitive unlike the ads to extend your product warranty or buy water filters for my oven. |
| 2025-01-22 |  | | I only use this as a TV remote because we have two LG TVs and our real remote will perform the action on both of them. this app as a remote is trash. It struggles to recognize when the TV is already on. if I minimize the app to go do something else on my phone while the tv is playing, the app entirely disconnects from the tv. so I have to turn my phones WiFi on and off and completely close out the app and reopen it to turn up the volume or skip an intro. it needs serious work |

I always had to get up and do it. we can't use the physical remote because apparently lg and vizio share same infrared signal. Update: No, reinstalling did not work. I will definitely not be chatting with lg. Huge company, but can't make a simple app? It doesn't even affect us anymore. We're taking the tv back. |

I can be paired into my TV via bluetooth and the app still can't find the TV. It also refuses to reconnect, and just seems to do so at conpletely randon times. |

I have been using this app until I have an extra 50 dollars for a new remote. This app is constantly disconnecting from the TV or telling me it isn't on when I used the app to turn the TV on! However, one horrible thing they do is that they removed some features, and an important one at that- they removed the feature to add devices with NFC and only support adding devices through WiFi. I had to find an older APK online, connect my device through NFC and THEN update it on the play store to get the latest app. Everything still works, which is great, but why make it so difficult? People on other OS don't even have the option to do what I did. |

LG app just says my phone does not have seme network or BT..which power Google home and all my other devices. My guess inept LG broke it with poorly designed update again. Gave 2 stars as it used to work. |
