2025-01-22 | A lot of times contents of the order are out of stock but in the store it's in stock. While the dasher is shopping and they mention that the item is out of stock, if I go back to the same store it shows in stock. This creates a really bad user experience and a lot of times I end up buying something which I didn't want in the first place. This problem doesn't happen in other apps. | ||
2025-01-21 | Not sure if it's a glitch with a recent update, but for some reason I'm not getting notifications if the dasher messages me (and yes all alerts/notifications are set to "on" so I should get both a text and an app alert). I have to manually open the order and check the order details to see if I have a message. I use the app mainly for groceries and this makes it very difficult when something is out of stock or the dasher needs my attention in a timely manner. | ||
2025-01-21 | The app itself is easy to use. If you need a refund CALL support you'll get a more reasonable refund. Now the issues I have. The "dashers" are normally rude and don't follow instructions. It's becoming to the point that I no longer use DoorDash. I also tip well over 20% because I don't have to leave work/home. So, for me, it's not a tipping issue. It's a rude, unhappy, Dasher issue. | ||
2025-01-20 | Many bugs. Doesn't count EBT in total-- email totals show you subtotal and treat EBT SNAP payments as discounts and not payments, so you don't get rewards or credits where you link it to your store accounts. It does this on the app and in your email receipt. I have to upload multiple screenshots to my grocery store to get credit. Doordash chat was useless and confused. | ||
2025-01-19 | I miss an item every time I order here, and they used to appreciate my service and do refunds. Now they say I ask for refunds too many times and won't accept my refunds when it's the restaurants fault for forgetting them. At least understand that I send a photo with all items and always have a missing or incorrect item. Called for customer service for an appeal, and they STILL refused to give me a refund. Doordash promises to be better but fails multiple times it's irritating 😒 | ||
2025-01-17 | Service has gotten significantly worse with DoorDash over the years while prices keep going up. Can't seem to get an order delivered straight to me; always ends up having multiple deliveries, regardless of my tip amount, and that ends up in cold food and way long wait time. Customer service is non existent. Not worth the upcharge for the halfbaked delivery service they provide. This is supposed to be convenient, instead, it's an expensive waste of money. | ||
2025-01-17 | Repeatedly ordering the same thing is an important use case. The "Recent orders" feature used to be a top level tab. Then they hid it inside the "Me" tab. Then they moved it back to the top. Today they hid it again! Pick a lane, people! And understand that your regular customers have regular habits! Many, many other issues with the app. It's impossible to submit app feedback without contacting support, which itself is hard unless it's about a specific order. | ||
2025-01-17 | Almost every time I have ordered using this app or apps that use the company.... Something is missing out of my order or my order is wrong. I get charged a fee for using the service, but they can only refund for the missing item or no refund at all. I have just had to deal. Too expensive to use, and poor quality service. I'm planning on deleting the app after my refund is returned... Which can take up to 10-12 business days... Absolutely ridiculous. Do better! | ||
2025-01-14 | This app has the worst pop-ups right when you open it up. It keeps asking to turn on the in app notifications when you just have the order updates notifications on. And it disguises that ask by asking to turn on just notifications and not all the notifications. Worst interface. When my subscription expires I will be moving to another app. | ||
2025-01-13 | New app layout is awful. Extremely hard to navigate!!! They need to change it back! They deleted ALL of my payment methods!!! Their customer service is useless. Called them 2 times to ask why the delivery address was not being accepted. Not a single person said it was bc of the fires. Kept telling me put address in again then to try from desktop bc of "updates." If this app can't inform their staff of delivery issues in addition to the rest of the issues then don't be in business. |
