It's nice to see a different game on Google Play, not just clones of popular games. Abalon has different gameplay, a turn-based strategy, with a mix of cards and roguelike thrown in. Can be challenging at first, but is quite fun once we know the game mechanics, and have decent starter card choices. The game universe is unique, and so does the graphics (love that "looking up" feature, 🤣). All of the expansion (read: most of the game) isn't free, however the core set is still fun. Recommended.

A good game, but it lacks the fanbase and frequent updates tho the gameplay is charming. Abalon reminds me about amother strategy game that is LegendofKR though their mechanics are quite different, the way that the enemies behave they always prioritize attacking the summoner. It really excels on card combinations that can easily be customized and enemies complexity thats still easy enough to predict. What it lacks is on how boring the environment could be and the uniqueness of RNG like surprises
