I used to think very highly of this app, to the point of spending money on it and telling friends to download it. Now that years have gone by, the second part of the game still sits unfinished and hasn't been updated in 6 months, I seems that it is basically a dying app now. It's sad because the game has so much potential. I have to bring my stars down from 5 to 3 because the fan base feels abandoned and has dwindled a lot from it's former glory.

By far the best freemium game I've encountered. The gameplay is pretty strong, there's a number of impactful decisions to be made both in building your team and in combat scenarios. Content increases in difficulty at a reasonable pace. Notably though, pretty much everything is reasonably within reach for a free to play player. I personally reached #4 in PvP without paying a dime or grinding excessively.
