This is an offline Optical Character Recognition (OCR) application.
"OCR" is an offline Optical Character Recognition application that processes English text from images captured by your camera or opened from the Gallery. It utilizes the tess-two library for text recognition, allowing users to edit and copy recognized text to the Clipboard. Additionally, the app can be launched by other applications to return recognized text. Note that the app may crash on devices with limited RAM during image processing.

Just read app description on Google Play. Not clear what is meant with "offline OCR" - are images sent to a cloud-based server for OCR processing or will the OCR Processing happen even while my Android device is off-line? UPDATE: thanks for response.
