This keyboard is trying so hard, but failing at the simplest things. It's good, but missing things like an option to not reverse the autocorrect when I backspace. Some times I just want to change one letter in a word it autocorrected, but it just reverses the whole thing. It also seems to have an issue with "it's", and never suggests it. Always an "its". Autocorrect is a mixbag. Sometimes, it does good and others is just plain bad. I can't make it my default keyboard still.

Mostly superior to GBoard but some English features aren't working on Android 14 that work fine on Android 9. Examples: autocorrect, suggestions, spell checker, emoji search. I don't know if compatibility is the issue because the Google Play description says it is compatible with Android 14. I've tried the settings and everything available is turned on. I'm really going to miss my favorite Yandex features. I don't have high speed internet so I don't know if customer service can help. 🥺

How the heck does this keyboard work ?! It doesn't swipe ? Or glide. It doesn't predict.. I couldn't just use it right out the box. Was I supposed to set it up in or something..? Not sure why it gets high reviews .---Response to developer - those two suggestions come on by default still doesn't work

My only real critique is that I wish the microphone was a little bit more accurate on occasion it has a habit to jumble the words together I also wish that it didn't have so much ambient to it as it seems to pick up words from my tv or anything in a close proximity rather than just my voice if that was worked on and tweaked a little bit I think you have 1 of the best keyboards on the app store

If I could give zero stars, I would. I had Swipe which doesn't work on my phone now. (I WANT IT BACK!) I installed this one because people said it worked well. Let me tell you how "well" it worked: you can't set all caps; it randomly puts all caps in the place of words; puts special key accents on words; even after you've verified the right word is there, type something else, and it will change it or remove it altogether! There's more but I'm uninstalling it right now. NOT used for this post!

Swype orphan. Tried Swiftkey, Flesky, etc. Using Gboard & hate it; like once a month I get fed up with how bad the accuracy is & look for a new app. Where has this keyboard been?! Doesn't randomly erase my clipboard! Actually suggests the words I add to my dictionary! Doesn't weirdly censor words when I've toggled that off! More than 3 suggested words! Accuracy not perfect but doesn't make me want to throw my phone across the room! YAY! Now if only there were copy/paste gesture shortcuts...

Its better than a bunch of other keyboards in most ways... but the thing its truly bad at is spaces in between words... both taking the bottom row letters over the space bar and predecting that "mostbways" should be autocorrected to "most ways" I don't have this problem with gboard, Swiftkey, etc Also its missing the entire top "qwerty" row ofneecondary characters on longpress. Please add those as well.

Every time there's a new update, I get excited hoping that you're finally adding the 'half-space' for RTL languages like Persian. Technically it's called a zero-width non-joiner (ZWNJ), and it makes two characters separate from each other without a full space between them, and it's grammatically necessary in many words/phrases such as می‌روم، می‌خورم، راه‌اندازی، فرشته‌ای and more. Byt I'm disappointed every time. Please add this, and it will be perfect. Almost every other keyboard has it.

Punctuation doesn't work in voice to text, comma and. Voice to text picks up. Background radio comma, unlike other keyboards.also comma. Periods are inserted whenever there's a short pause comma. As you can see comma, this is an issue. Yes comma, I do have the setting turned on which is supposed to. Apply punctuation automatically in voice to text period. I cannot use this keyboard and will uninstall it period. This review is unedited using Yandex's voice to text. Inputs period.

Very nice keyboard! Use Swiftkey but the smaller screen on the fold and too many keys I don't need and cannot remove made typing harder. My only complaint with Yandex, as others have said, is the voice not adding punctuation. If I say "This is my sentence period" I want the voice to add the ".", not add the word "period". Same for commas, ! ?, etc. Swiftkey does this well, and it is a must have. The 'enter punctuation in speech' is of no value, just drop in the right punctuation mark.
