I've been waiting 2 years for this UI issue to be improved, since UI version (30.8 Pro) had removed the Stop button when on the station screen. Now there is a Cast button that I never use; I think that Cast would be better on the top right menu. Now if I want to Stop (to stop using my cell data if I'm no longer going to be listening), I have to go to Car mode. Sometimes a Stop button is in the notifications widget but often not.

There is no cast icon available before starting to play something first?!? The cast button does nothing when playback stops not within the app. You have to kill the app, open it, play again and THEN cast again. This app has ONE job, to stream audio; and casting audio to a speaker (a very common task) has so many problems!! I'm sick and tired of killing the app to make things work 🤷‍♂️ Also there is NO material-you colored icon!! 🙄 Please create separate notification channels!!
