2023-08-27	Shane Odom	When I downloaded the app, my phone almost completely shutdown. I could not navigate almost to anything. I deleted the app and downloaded it the next day it did the same thing. My phone was super slow and would not respond to anything I did to it. It appears to check the internet speed, but it also does a lot of other stuff to your phone going on behind the scene. It's a waste of time . I would not recommend this app. My phone is back to normal once I deleted the app.
2023-07-19	Dailyn Brujan	Very good app but so much money to delete the ads?! And please make the "x" button bigger when your gonna take off the ad. It makes me click on it and it takes me to a website to pay to delete the ads. I prefer to have the ads deleted by 1.99 which is basically 2 dollars. 6 is too much for an app like this even tho it's good.🤷🏽‍♀️ overall 4/5. I hope you don't have trouble with other stuff. 🤦🏽‍♀️
2023-07-15	Josh Brightwell	Does what it's supposed to. HOWEVER, there are so many things it asks you to agree to it's mind-blowing. Before even the first use, it asked me to pay. 🤣 Hell no dawg! To skip the ads, there is a button so tiny even a 4 year olds finger is too big! I ended up clicking on an ad I didn't want to click on. Very sketchy way for them to get paid from free users. Did what I needed it to, then immediately uninstalled.
2023-05-16	Rachel McEwuen	Great app. Also I noticed another review that said Most apps listen to 3-4 events that are required for them to operate. Speedcheck listens to 43 if you actually read the stuff you agree to when opening the app it tells you that they collect & share ad IDs location data and network information with 3rd parties globally for market research among other things to have a free version of the app available. And you can opt out at anytime in your settings. Don't give a bad review cause you can't read.
2022-03-09	Rob Lane	*UPDATE* After buying a new s22 Ultra and logging in to the app, I was getting tons of ads even though I had previously purchased the PRO version, and the app was constantly running in the background causing battery and memory usage issues. I emailed the developer and Thomas responded quickly (same day!) with a way to restore my PRO purchase and stop the app from running in the background! Awesome customer service!!! Thanks Thomas!!!
2022-02-10	Barbara Pappenfus	I have used this app for years.. The speed test portion works acceptably and , before they messed with the app to to interject Very Intrusive ads, the statistic features was useful. Now, ads that scream out at you come up before you can even see the results. This makes the app unacceptable to me and I am switching to another speed test app. I definitely do not recommend this app anymore.
2021-11-09	Eric W	Does exactly what I need. It tests wifi speed and has an easy to read breakdown. History is a nice free option as well! The difference between rooms is very noticeable and it helped me figure out the best spot for my router. What more could you ask for? Well how about the option to remove ads for $2.50 or you can go ahead and remove ads for free! *Update 11\9\21 I am still using this app regularly. I love this app! I am not in any way associated with this company nor am I getting paid.
2021-08-25	Johnny Harris	Good speed tester but what else is it doing? I use this app very rarely, it is a small and user friendly tool to check network speed. That said I recently checked my data usage and this app has been running in the background to the tune of 2Gb this month. I also noticed that it is storing data. (The app is ~60mb and was using ~120mb of storage). This leads me to wonder what ELSE this app is doing in the background. Not worth it for me. Uninstalling.
2021-08-14	Shannon Wages	I changed my review to only one star as this app is now running always in the background even though it does not have that permission. With that being said all of a sudden I couldn't use my phone. This app used 14.46 G in just a few minutes. It took me a few to figure out why my phone was full and froze. I UNINSTALLED IT!! Too bad cuz I did really like this app. Original review: Nice!!! Does exactly what it says. I like that it shows IP addresses. Wished it showed other networks and channels.
2021-06-04	Patrick Hentges	App is very simple to use, and provides accurate measurements. If you want to see how your speed is affected on a 'shared' system (for instance FIOS) by the number of 'neighbors' who are currently on-line, this app will give you a clear indication of the network loads in real-time. Ads are predictable and unobtrusive, and can be removed easily.
