I prefer getting a computer and using the main version of scratch and on this app you can only play games you made and it it's a lower quality than normal scratch this is just scratch but for BABYS I do not recommend unless you don't want your child playing possibly inappropriate games but I recommend normal scratch

There are no more functions. There are also no more blocks,no more charachters and we also waste our data. There is better game in computer than in phone.

Hey scratch jr, please add more features, the original scratch has a lot of features and easy to use, but in scratch junior, I can't even get costumes and the hide block does not hide immediately, I love this app but I need more features

Very limited. Since there is no scratch app for mobile devices, me and my friends wanted to use Scratch JR to compete in our own mini game jam. However there are many issues, like when you draw a line too close to another line, it automatically joins the two lines, meaning you have to space everything out like a sprite-sheet and move everything around when you are finished. There are also no clones, and I dont mean duplicating sprites! There's more I could add but I'm running out of space.

My daughter loves this app. Unfortunately, she spent time making a series of videos for a class project that are unusable. The only 'export' options is to share via email and the file sent is a .sjr file that's specific to scratch and not recognizable by literally anything. There's also zero way to access this work via desktop. And if you go into the app via another device (like a parent's phone) there's no way to log into an acct to recover these projects. Super disappointed.

good but not option's are available.ScratchJr is a fantastic app designed to introduce young children (ages 5-7) to programming concepts through creative animation and storytelling. It offers a user-friendly interface with drag-and-drop coding blocks, making it easy for kids to create their own interactive stories, games, and animations. The app encourages creativity, problem-solving, and logical thinking in a playful environment. However, it may have limitations for older or more experienced us

I got the advise from my computer teacher to play this to improve computer coding and stuff and when I downloaded this it was awesome! The only problem is that whenever I make a project and try to open it,it doesn't work maybe it's a glitch or something but it's very annoying this game is perfect but pls fix this problem

My experience was pretty good, it was easy to do my first project as there is a book on top left of the screen which has examples of projects. and i find clear to teach kids, bugs are clear and explained on the book what are they for. But i like it on my computer not on the phone.

Let me just make something very clear: this is NOT Scratch, and if you're looking for a mobile version of said engine, you will not find it here. Scratch Jr. is a good app for what it is. It's meant to be a beginner coding engine for kids 7-, and that's exactly what it is. Nothing here is as advanced as Scratch 3, and that's the intent. TL;DR: Stop hating on this app for not being something it was never meant to be.

Its a very good app! The only thing that is ruining is the complexity. How complex the game is, is really insane and tricky. I can't use this app/game without saying "Huh?" Or "What?". I barely use it now, but it's always a game I use whenever I am bored. Not the app I would use everyday, but an app I'd use frequently Not to mention that this app is sometimes hard to navigate around and does not have many options. When I played it last time it was on a computer and this looks WAY different
