2025-01-29 | Pro: Allows for saving custom configuration of multiple vehicle general parameters. Pro: Allows for saving locally and sending diagnostic results via email for reference and further research on a real computer (full size keyboard, display, browser, etc.) Con: No app-related reference, so leaning the features is by trial and error. I would have given 5 stars if it included an adequate user guide or in-app reference.
2025-01-16 | Update: Bought a used KIA. The KIA plugin advises it is not supported by the latest version of Android. Need a workaround, please! Excellent application! Very happy with the data this app can track, the interface is easy to use, the multiple pages allow for me to monitor different sets of data for different driving activities, all in all a very solid product.
2025-01-06 | I opted for pro quite some time ago, and it has indeed paid off, and been a blast to use. I've thoroughly enjoyed designing my own dashboard with dials that closely emulate my vehicle's dashboard. Upon seeing no updates for over a year suggests that, while still safe and functional, is abandoned. My '24 car isn't being properly read in CO and coolant temp values, so moving on to something else.
2025-01-01 | It's alright. I had this from an old car and used it on a few. Now I have an evo.l but it seems the mitsu advanced ex isn't available which pretty much makes it useless for this car. Kind of a fail to remove that so based on past experience I did give it 3 stars, but it doesn't support anything other than basic info for an Evo since I can't get the fing plugin
2024-12-24 | I bought two Bluetooth dongles, a SinoTrack and the ELM327 V2.1 mini. They both work, but not with not all PID,s. I expected that. When I exit Torque Pro with either scanner, it won't reconnect without a lot of uninstalling - reinstalling. I bought the OBD Fusion app and all I have to do is hit reconnect. As far as setting up, Torque is easier it's still my favorite. But a pain to pair up again with the dongle.
2024-11-24 | This app is so good and the price is right too. I love it so much that I installed an Android tablet in my car and have a Bluetooth ODB adapter sending me the data for my car. Passenegers think it looks cool but I love having all the data and logs/history Torque Pro can keep. To me, there's no better car person Android app: Torque Pro is the BEST. You won't be disappointed after buying the app and, for further proof, there's a Lite version you can use to see for yourself.
2024-11-05 | I use the this app daily, recently I bought a 2nd obdII device so I can have one in my car and one in my truck, the app did not like that at all, I don't like having to dive into the settings everytime I change vehicles. You should make the app to where it can assign different OBDII devices to car profiles and make it automatically switch depending on which one connects to the phone when the car is started, that would be awesome.
2024-11-05 | Love it. I love being able to set up profiles for cars.. not that it's necessary. I love seeing all the data in any of the several charts/graphs/etc. Iwant. And I love being able to log the tracklog data, transfer it from my phone to my PC and use the free CSV Viewer from the MS Store that's so neatly laid out and works perfectly with the files this app creates. "Flow CSV Viewer" is the name of the Windows app that's best to view these tracklog csv files.
2024-10-29 | Just downloaded. Paid for an app that plays non stop ad's. Nice. There is a button on there program just so you can block the interference of non stop ad's for $3.95. And of course it pops up an ad constantly in the middle of everything to sell you this grand service. If you are actually purchasing this program while in your garage to get something done, well forget that noble cause, you are purchasing an advertising machine that places its function second to making money selling advertising.
2024-09-14 | App is no longer supported by the developer. Now I'm using OBD Fusion, the one with the blue engine icon and it actually connects to Android auto. 10 years ago this was the go-to application. However, now it hasn't been updated since last year. In reality, it actually hasn't had any user interface change since almost inception. It still seems to work but there's nothing new and it still feels like an app you would use on Android 4.0 ice cream sandwich or kit Kat. |
