Very stylish and well-written interactive NOVEL. That bit is key: there are negative reviews here that didn't seem to understand the concept of having a consistent character. One of the things I liked best about this -aside from the faithfulness to Japanese culture- was that you don't just get random choices like an open world video game. You choose your personality and style early on, and that shapes what options you have and how dialogue is written. A cut above most CYOA.

Jeff Light, 2024-03-26A wonderful interactive story where your choices matter. The character you play as is a total badass. The way the story is written is easy to read and flows really well! The characters including your own all are fun to interact with and are believable in their setting. The theme is ancient Japan or rather a fantasy version of it that is delightful and dark. The tale does a good job of balancing grim reality with delightful action fantasy.
