2024-12-25 | I love this game it's well thought out. I only wish they would add another game mode where all the stations are already placed out and you have to connect them in the most efficient manner. Basically a spin off of the endless mode but with more long term planning (rather than reactively designing)
2024-11-19 | Garbage. The app gives the impression of a relaxing idle game. But in actuality, it's a linear, boring completely uncustomizable, and lacking in any form of creativity. Can't even select the proper color tracks. The "program" forces the user to place things only as it has previously defined. NO CUSTOM PLACEMENT! even the download time is a waste. Whoever made this "game" should NEVER make an attempt ever again.
2024-10-31 | Confusing and boring at the same time. Not worth learning because of the visuals. Who cares if your train is better if it's still a boring colored blob or passengers who are just ••▪︎▪︎? It isn't easy to learn because everything is iconified and unlabeled and the reward is boring flat subway maps and unchallenging actual gameplay 😑 It isn't a bad game though, it is well executed and people who thought management games had just too much going on visually will enjoy the added blandness.
2024-10-25 | A fun game with lots of stages and optional achievements to satisfy the min maxer. They also have their own real leaderboard instead of the often hacked Google play ones. I don't enjoy the music though. I get that it's based on events happening in game, but it sounds chaotic and random.
2024-09-29 | Definitely a very minimalist design ethos, built on the aesthetic of any number of railway maps. Might not be for everyone, but as someone who's been in love with public transit as a concept for years, it serves a very specific interest. That said, not as easy to get into if you're not willing to try and fail a few times, as there's not much of a tutorial. I see why some are critical, but I've had a great time watching my trains go about their schedule.
2024-08-08 | I can't remember a game I really wanted to give 5 stars. Thought it'd be a silly game then finally tried it. 💯 Can keep you busy for so long in endless mode. Haven't tried creative yet though. Good for people who enjoy multitasking but don't need to worry about losing- in endless mode. So it's not frustrating. Love the option.
2024-06-27 | 5 stars for style, 3 stars for gameplay. Visuals are perfection. The generative soundtrack is wonderfully creative, when it isn't stuck on a dissonant chord. Early and mid game is fun, but once you get deep enough into a game, the only way to really improve your score is by pausing and moving trains to full stations manually, which undermines the fun of designing a good system. Overall enjoyable for a few weeks, but the game is generally less fun the better you get
2024-04-04 | Great little game! Fun to figure out and very challenging, without being too much for ppl who aren't big gamers. I like that it has online daily challenges, as well as different play modes (sandbox = yes!), to keep things fresh. I also like that the city maps are all REAL places and that various elements in the game are tailored to each. The list of (mostly locked at start) maps IS long (34 total), but am hoping more are added eventually; many are quite easy to unlock w/ basic game achievements.
2024-02-19 | I am addicted to this game!!! Two strong suggestions though: 1. Allow the player to have options in color-blind mode. Cyan/green are too close in hue, and the navy is rough in dark-mode. 2. I'd love to see data mid-game for where all my locomotives and carriages are. The trains get visually obscured by the stop. Too often, I have more or fewer trains on the line than I think. A quick count of trains per line would better help my judgement.
2024-02-16 | One of the best mobile games I've ever played. It's minimalistic and simplistic in design, but it's also pretty challenging when it comes to the achievements. Which imo, is really fun. Also, small but 10/10 feature imo, this game has a dark mode. More app companies should keep that in mind as most people prefer it, in my experience. |
