Have used premium version for years; highly recommend for intermediate to advanced users who want full control of all device volume behavior. Create custom settings (Presets) to apply from notification menu shortcut, plus automated Presets activated by time, GPS location, connection of specific Bluetooth devices, and many more triggers. Too many features to list here. Significant learning curve and documentation could be better, but developer is responsive and updates regularly. Well worth it!

For what it is, it does okay, but when you say "control," I imagine being able to control much more than the system allows anyway. While it is nice to be able to, for instance, change the Bluetooth volume before connecting to a device in order to not get blasted out by it right away, there is no way to control the volume of individual apps. Example: mute a game while having the music player on. That's what I would call ultimate control!
