Fun and simple gameplay with enough complexity to keep it interesting. The grind can be a bit long later in the game from what I've seen, however the game isn't entirely pay to win. There are in app purchases that do help, and you can buy certain ships, but it's not make or break. Edit: After playing a bit more, I found out that I enjoy the aircraft carriers. I wish there was an option to directly control the aircraft/squadrons in a campaign mode or something if you select a carrier.

I often wonder if the players that are having problems with this game, like lagging and getting kicked out of battles, are the free to play players? Without those f2p players, we wouldn't have any cannon fodder! Also, they happen to be good players and are a good challenge. I don't understand why a lot of people don't like to play battleships. I can make a battleship do whatever I need it to do. Most people rather play Destroyers, which get destroyed in a single Salvo. I'll use HE immediately
