If anyone is having issues connecting their unit to the WiFi through Access Point Mode then turn off your mobile data as well, i was connected to the WiFi SSID from the AC unit but the app was still routing its traffic through to my 4G and would never find the AC unit!

Decent app, missing all the quiet/eco/smart modes the remote can do though. The app horizontal directional settings don't work and it only does horizontal swing. Checking via echonetlite the direction is set, but horizontal swing is set on as well. So that's a bug.
