ICT-AAC Communicator 2 is a powerful tool designed to assist individuals with complex communication needs by facilitating easier interaction with their environment. The app features a basic set of symbols that can be personalized with the user’s own photos or symbols, making communication more relatable and effective. Users can simply tap on a symbol to hear the associated sound track, typically the name of the item represented by the symbol.

The app offers various settings to cater to individual preferences, allowing users to adjust the number of symbols displayed on the screen, choose from public galleries of symbols, and customize colors, text, frames, and backgrounds. Note that the new version of the communicator (blue icon) is distinct from the old version (orange icon) and does not allow symbol transfers between the two. However, users can run both applications simultaneously for a seamless transition.
