I needed to upload some files to my Linux box. AndFTP refused to allow me to use the root directory as my "local" directory. Supposedly "for your security." USELESS! I ended up moving thousands of files from local storage to the SD card, and then physically putting the SD card into my Linux box. I spent half an hour looking for the stupid little pin required to eject the SD card from the phone. Thanks for nothing, AndFTP! This app is completely useless.

Very good client. Two shortcomings to be fixed: 1) Does not always keep modification date (can't remember if when uploading, downloading or both) 2) Opening local DCIM/Camera folder takes forever if that folder contains etc 10000 files) Other than that, highly recommended for FTP SSH transfers.
