Ridiculously merciless app. beware that if You change devices make sure to perform a back up before logging in to the new device, if You log into the new device it logs out the old and deletes EVERYTHING, so if Your chats we not backed up it's gone forever and the most infuriating thing is that I have everything in My PC but there's no way to sync the backup from that to a mobile device! terrible system!

Just unbelievably bad. My phone got damaged and had to replace it with the a new one and I the old data but only when they use the QR code with the old broken phone.(and keep in mind the screen was completely broken so) And I tried everything to import my data but it's just not going to let me import the data. So I deleted app and restarted, created new account but the app decided to block me for no reason! LINE...just after that update everything went downhill. Please fix this issue!!

It requires an email added to the app before you try to transfer to another phone. I didn't have my old phone because it wasn't working anymore, and I didn't realize I needed the email added. I can put in my phone number and get a text verification, so WHY would that not be enough to prove it's me? I'd give this 0 stars if I could. I've tried contacting their support, we'll see if they can help.

The messaging on the app is fine, however there is a glitch where messages are not recieved until I open the app. If it's left in the background for more than an hour, I won't receive notifications for any messages until I open the app. It causes me to miss messages a lot so I haven't really used it. I'm using a Samsung A32, and I've turned off pause background activity and battery saver, so it's not those. Please fix this

Would rate ZERO stars if possible. Used app to backup my Disney Tsum Tsum data. Was able to transfer once. When I tried again due to having to reinstall the app I could not transfer the data again. I contacted Line and they told me my account was disabled due to violating their terms. All the Line account was used for was to transfer the game data, nothing else. When I tried to upload the info to the support ticket it appeared that the ticket had been closed as I received a bad gateway error

This app used to be good. It won't always notify me when someone messages me. Over time, it also started taking too long to open. It tells other people that your Line ID is "not found." Even if it's the right ID it often refuses to find the other person. You can not share Line ID anymore with others as it won't always work. Sharing QR code can be difficult as some people don't know how to add people with the QR code link or image. Line app is not so reliable anymore. Please fix these issues.

Everything was working perfectly fine, until the latest update. I have all the notifications setting turned On but I am not receiving any Ding-dong notifications ever since the latest update, not until I opened the line app. I thought I was the only one having this problem, but it seems other users also have similar problems. Please fix this issues. I don't want to let my friends and families think I'm ignoring them on purpose.

There's no save conversation or save all for pictures, and I'm not getting a notification at all now all of a sudden. It apparently also doesn't carry over conversations at all if you sign in on another device, which is stupid. Why is there not a select all with pictures to save? And why are conversations not all carried over if you download and sign onto something new? That's completely stupid. Edit: The fact that this chat app is over 13GB is insanely bad. Edit: 11/27/24 Chat not popping up.

Deleted my entire chat history when switching phones with NO WARNING. The website mentions how to backup but not the app itself. And I couldn't undo it to start a backup. I have literally never felt sicker than realizing all the messages to my partner have been deleted. This used to be my favorite app. Now it's a reminder that it was never properly programmed in the first place.

Bloated app, locked phone number, advertisements everywhere, impossible to change ringtone, limited file size transfer and limited file time availability. I'm using it because everyone around me is using it and I am locked into that social ecosystem, otherwise I would have avoided it like the plague. Textbook example of enshittification service app, expect it to get worse.
