| 2025-02-02 |  | | Don't waste your time installing this useless app, unless you plan on purchasing it! The first couple of times I used this app, it worked great! I haven't been able to connect since! I honestly believe, once they realize you're not gonna pay for this app, they basically cut you off. Besides, the free basic version is loaded with numerous adds! You watch this minute long add and then you close it and another add automatically appears. WHAT A JOKE!!! I'll be uninstalling this useless app, ASAP! |
| 2025-01-18 |  | | this app was good and all. But I paid the $79 for the year. i paid it in September 2024, and when I go to download it and sign in. It takes me back to the purchase options which are "start 7 day free trial" or " subscribe for $9.99 a month" so I want to avoid paying at all. I put "start free trial" and It says " you are already subscribed" and it won't let me in. but if I click "$9.99 a month" it'll take me to "card info" which is stupid because I'm stuck and they won't let me sign in. |
| 2025-01-14 |  | | The app constantly logs me out so that my "VPN on" shortcut in my drop down doesn't work until manually go back and log in. Also, usually when I do go back to log in, I find find it's stuck on the "Disconnecting..." page and never moves. I have to force stop the app through the Android app settings (and usually clear the cache) to get it to start up from a usable page. Otherwise, the VPN locations seem to work as intended, but overall it's more clunky than I'd like at times. |

The app itself is so slow I have to close and open it a few times just to be able to connect. Please fix immediately. |

Although It worked well for me, and I was NEVER hacked. LOL, I finally took the time, and figured it out last year! | 2024-10-10 |  | | This used to be a great VPN, but after the most recent update the connection drops randomly. It only connects for about 20 seconds until disconnecting and reconnecting. Also it's pretty peculiar how the Android app has a "minutes" system but all other versions have unlimited time. And even then I've recently noticed that my built up minutes are randomly disappearing. Finally I can try to connect but then it stays on "Connecting to Auto" and gets stuck there, but I click Disconnect, app locks up. |

Also, if you get money from clicking the ad references in free plan, give users the ability to skip the ad by doing that. It is not fair when you click the ad, go to the related page/app, and still have to watch the ad till the end after. P.S. Stopped working on premium. Well, it is not what I expected. |
| 2024-07-31 |  | | I upgraded from an old Pixel 4a 5G to a new Pixel 8. All my apps transferred over (thanks T-Mobile). And Dashlane no longer worked. I tried several other VPN apps. Same. After the phone upgrade I had downloaded lots of news apps, lots of weather apps and ALL my streaming apps. So I went back and deleted all that. Same. Didn't figure I'd need to reinstall Hotspot... But it wasn't actually a fresh install during the mass app transfers to a new phone. So I reinstalled it and it now works perfectly! |
| 2024-07-28 |  | | The trial of this app is great. But, after you pay for the actual app you get flooded with ads each time you turn it on. Its a waste of money. I wouldn't suggest anyone to buy this app. DON'T BUY!!! Update: I put 2 more stars because I did purchase the actual app and it worked great until recently. It keeps turning and off. Causing phone calls and other apps to malfunction. When it works it is great though. |
| 2024-06-10 |  | | It works ok and speeds are fine but you have to babysit it constantly as it constantly disconnects and won't reconnect automatically regardless of what settings you have configured. Seems to do better if you don't jump access points so fine if you don't wander or travel the floor of a building. At the end of the day you can't trust it to protect your data since it can't reliably stay connected. I will not be re-upping my sub, despite using it for a long time. |
