Thanks for your response. Enabling the EdgeBlock service results in Palma getting warmer. Disabling the service or uninstalling the app makes the device work normally. Reinstalling and reenabling the service causes it to warm up again. Not much, but it's noticeable. Also, the battery discharges pretty quickly then (1% every 6 minutes, even if the device is locked and not used). EDIT: Never mind, I've switched to Tasker instead.

When an edge is touched, nothing else on screen can be touched. This is actually common in reviews Ive seen, similar edge blocking apps get the same complaint. Ive been tracking ghost touches with developer options and can confirm p1 is on the edge and p2+ are where I am actually touching. The problem would be fixed if pointers could be "swapped" but I doubt google will let you. System screen calibration is restricted on many newer phones, often with half built drivers, and edge-to-edge screens.
