Supporting developers behind apps like this are necessary, in my opinion, and there are not many more deserving. Take some time to learn it. Use your AI for the walk through, set up, and evaluation of the results to fine tune your needs. Remember that more security means less functionality of services you may be using, but your downloading this app means your concerns of privacy are worthy. |

I don't know, no way to test it except I seem safe so far. It does allow you to know when your using your mobile data when you want to be minimizing that. Lots of choices |

If I may be so bold to say we need a VPN and the firewall at the same time if you guys could find a workaround for this. I would pay even more money for this type of setup. |

They call out that they won't in the FAQ, which is unfortunate as a number of apps I would like to block unless I am actively using it, the "when screen on" doesn't help there. If you are trying to get really deep into blocking everything, including Google, get the one off GitHub. But if you're just trying to watch and limit regular apps this is good. |

FYI: Have also been testing the email app and to date, it has performed remarkably well. VERY impressive. |

The way Android works is that an app like this needs to use the built-in Android VPN profile so it can locally block Internet access by apps. The catch is that if you use a separate VPN provider, you can only use one of these two at any one time. This is a limitation of Android if you are using a no-root firewall. This app is constantly being improved, so thank you Developer!!! |

Try doing this on an Apple device to get this level of control -- guess what, you can't! This is one of the reasons why I like Android because it enables apps like this to fill a huge need. Make sure you read and follow directions before going and blaming anyone who isn't looking back at you in a mirror. I've been using this app for years to block ads on my device, monitor for background apps, and troubleshoot+block less scrupulous data hungry apps, and then I bought pro features... App is organized and very straightforward for someone with a little bit of tech background that has enough patience to learn. |

This can capture it. Plus, you don't need access to the root directory/folder, or the top level folder, to make this work. It is so nice ( : Suggest getting the registered version. Encourage the developer. This stuff takes a lot of work!! Thank you for this awesome application, Mr. Developer, lol |
