On 1st use I notice I can now see road names instead of just the road number. Road numbers are useful though so it would be great to have them in brackets next to the name. The over all detail on the map looks amazing and can't wait to try it out long term. |

Charging €19/year just to download maps is unreasonable, especially for those who use the app sporadically. I believe apps should be a one-time purchase, not something you have to pay for over and over. This feels like a scam and a greedy move to resell the same product annually. I’m deeply upset by this change and will no longer use or recommend this app. |

I consider(ed) it to be the best mapping available for almost every situation. I would be prepared to pay something for it, but GBP 19 per year (correct as at 20 Jan 2025) is EXTORTIONATE and there is no way I am paying that. It think "extortion" is the right word, as presumably I will no longer be able to use my offline maps? A betrayal. I recommend downloading an older version. |

Yes, it used to be very good app for years, but it's heading really wrong direction. Understand need for payments, but it is done by really bad way, I would even prefer to pay to concurrent app because of this approach. |
| 2025-01-08 |  | | I've tried multiple map services through the years, as an outdoor guide and enthusiast I have a dire need for quality topography, as many trails registered as humanly possible, offline maps and landmarks. This hits the spot just right. I've used it in multiply areas in Europe, mainly Scandinavia, Southern Europe and Greece, as well as The Pacific Northwest in the US. I still have multiple map services on my phone as reference. 95% of the time Mapy.cz grants the best results. Bravo! |
| 2025-01-08 |  | | Ridiculous. They recently put many features (such as downloading for offline use) behind a pay wall, even though their maps are based on Openstreetmap, which is ODbL. Furthermore, the navigation gets stuck within minutes and doesn't work again until I force stop the entire app. I have switched to Google Maps, which provides all the needed features AND Spotify integration. I'm only keeping this app as a backup. |

Considering they are mostly from OSM, and not even made by Seznam, I don't get what kind of service they think is being provided here to warrant recurring subscription. Oh well I guess it was nice while it lasted. |

Unfortunately, no it is only possible to get one country for free and the rest by subscription. That was exactly why I loved and used the app. Using it for offline navigation in different countries, while driving and hiking. No I have to pay for it. It was outstanding and I recommended it to so many friends, now is just like any other. That's rather a reason for me to step away. Very disappointed! |
| 2024-12-31 |  | | This was a really great maps app back in the day and served me well as a free, easy, and offline OpenStreetMap viewer. Now it's been downgraded to one offline map, which also requires me to register for an account I neither want nor need. I need exactly zero of the features added over the recent months, and now you're restricting the only feature (offline maps) more and more that made me choose the app a few years ago. Moving on to Organic Maps for now until you folks get your priorities sorted. |
| 2024-12-31 |  | | Generally great, in mountains, forest and city, but once in a while it stops showing your exact location. Then after some time (sometimes a week, sometimes more) it works again. Mapy.cz told me to check Google play services,since they take location data from it, but it is updated and have all necessary permissions. So I think sometimes after an update a bug appears in communicatiom between the two apps. So before a trip you better check if the location finding works or not. |
