| 2025-01-28 |  | | Absolutely terrible, especially if you have multiple accounts. Emails become trapped in the outbox on occasion, even when there is a good data connection. Switching mailboxes often does not work properly. Messages are often not sync'ed; i.e. sometimes not all messages are shown. Hey developers: instead of making this junk app more bloated with useless updates and features we didn't ask for, how about fixing functionality? Even the browser version of mail works better, ffs. |

Also, when reading unread email, I click a link to a site and go back and the email is automatically marked as read and closes. It should remain open and provide the option to keep the email unread. A frustrating app to use. |

While I get most of my email fine, sometimes it doesn't load/show some of my older emails and I have to close or refresh the app. The search tool doesn't work, even if I use exact wording and have to search manually. The package tool is a bother and they pop up days after I've received packages and dismissed them. If it wasn't such a hassle, I'd switch platforms. |

I click save, and it brings me back to the inbox I was already on. I try to switch inboxes/accounts again and it happens up to 5 MORE TIMES before I can switch accounts. It's been years with no fix for this. The live package updates card is broken. They're never accurate and pop up again even after I disable them. Also, the ads are annoying. |

I've turned off Deals over and over, yet every single time I open another email, there it is again telling me that as a Yahoo+ member, I can turn this off. I should not have to do this every single time I open an email. If this keeps up, there is no need for me to continue paying for +. To me, this is no different than ads popping up. |

BUT, since the last couple updates where Yahoo introduced the 'press and hold' feature to filter all emails from the same sender for different options, it's been really bad in that the feature rarely works. It even affected the 'Move' option; I can't move my selected emails to their folder. What happened?!! Please fix! It's a great feature to have on the phone app. |

I have had yahoo email for over 20 years and the changes in the app have me reconsidering my loyalty to it. 1st, the app will not properly load unless I close it out and reopen it. Some emails will not populate for hours or DAYS after I receive them. I use this email for important things and that is extremely problematic. 2nd, it's not recognizing my default internet browser to open links no matter how much I un/reinstall or clear my cache/data. |

The same for trying to "select" an email to move it to a folder either doesn't work half of the time or takes forever. Awful. It needs to go back to how it was!!! |

Yahoo suggests I set a default app for links and has a button to go to settings. When I go there, it shows Firefox as the default app. Still, links won't open. This is the app I use for online purchases, so I open links all the time. The app is useless without being able to do that |
