You don't have to have a credit card from Capital One in order to use the app. It also goes thru a list of discount codes looking to find you the best price for whatever item your buying. Then you can use the cash back you earned to purchase gift cards from different retailers. This app sometimes offer way more than the Rakuten App. |

After reaching out for assistance, they were unable (or just unwilling) to provide any explanation on every occasion that rewards for qualifying purchases were denied. |

They are flat out telling you that the advertised cash back amounts are not guaranteed through them when you do make purchases. Deceptive program for sure, but it works. 🙄 |

It applies any coupon code at check out as well as whatever amt you have coming to you as a rebate will stay in the app for you to use or to save up. Soon as you have I think $5 it will let you choose from many gift cards. Some stores have larger rebates back sometimes. It's honest! |

The app automatically attempts every coupon available until the valid one with the highest discount is applied. This is a great time saver instead of having to search online. I ended up getting a $400 item for $279. So far so good, no glitches or issues with the app performance and no battery drain. |

I like the fact that Capital One has extended the their reach to multiply businesses to offer us the best discount possible from 1% to 10%. The best part about it is, it's free and all you have to do is sign up automatically with your email and your existing Capital One account. Not only that I like their security and accountability. I was notified immediately when my card was used without my permission. I was not penalized. |
