The app itself hasn't had any issues, however new stuff is unavailable for 6 months with the normal subscription which is frustrating because new comics I want to purchase are no longer available in comic shops, which tend to only keep the current issues. Then a lot of the older content has been put into volumes that are also only available on the ultra tier. The zooming in on panels is nice but only a bit better than manually zooming...and is worse than Google play which enlarges bubbles.

I've enjoyed the selection of comics I get, but they need to make some series improvements to the Android app. Long loading times, frequent crashes, a bug where comics I've never read are marked as in-progress or completed, and a lot of the time entire pages will be blacked out entirely on comics I'm reading! I've encountered this last error on multiple series, but on one issue, there were about five entire pages missing from the 23-page issue! It's honestly just super annoying.

I've been really enjoying my time with this app, but I have two complaints. 1. There needs to be an option to remove any ongoing book or series from the "Dive Back In" selection on the home page. 2. The app is constantly freezing becoming completely unresponsive, forcing me to close out the app and relaunch it. Sometimes the app will simply just crash instead. Review will be changed to 5 stars if these complaints are settled.

So far so good 👍 New reader here, so I wanted to know if toggle panel mode has always been this clunky for comic apps? It was working very well at first, but it would later start zooming in to close for some parts and/or only show half a panel, then show the next one without ever showing the full image.

Just when I thought the app sucked enough. Now it's a pain to navigate it through Xbox. You should be paying us to test it, not charging us to test it. This is not the same app it was. Now it isn't full of broken promises. But that "dive back in" feature would be better off not existing. It's almost completely worthless. New updates. But the biggest problem still exists.

I would give this app 3.5 stars if I could, but the android version of this app downright sucks. My "dive back in" section virtually never has any of the comics that I'm in progress of reading so I have to manually search each time I want to continue reading series (which is pretty inconvenient when reading multiple volumed series). The content itself along with the ultra subscription is phenomenal, the app needs so much more performance and stability improvements on Android.

Good selection of comics BUT, a good chunk of the DC's Silver Age stuff is missing from the libraries which is a bummer. For instance 59 issues out of 200 of the 1960-1986 Green Lantern comics arent available to read. Important arcs too! Having over a quarter of a comic's run unavailable makes it hard to read with much coherence, hope they finish uploading their library at some point.

The app no longer opens at all for me,keeps telling me the app doesn't work,or just shuts off the screen of my phone, wich is odd since I had previously updated back in October and haven't had serious issues until now,I'm super duper disappointed ☚ī¸ in it,I really don't wanna have to find my comics elsewhere or have to try and get physical copies because let's face it that's to expensive and hard to do these days.

Does the job enough to read older series but if you want the newest editions you need the ultra membership which is very expensive not too mention doesn't have a monhtly version only the yearly sub. Also some of the storylines are not in order and you'd be better off looking up a reading guide. Finally some of the series that I read have missing or broken pages that make me unable to continue such as the knight terrors and some of the nightwing series.

The comic books themselves and the comic book reader are great. I love the stories and being able to glide from panel to panel. That said, the overall application interface and features are lacking. Especially, at the annual price point, which is higher than Marvels by a lot. At bare minimum you should be able to remove "Dive Back Into" comics from your list. Additionally, it displays reading progress on comics I have never opened, which is a bug. Copy Marvel's superior app! This isn't hard.
