2024-02-29	Dylan Bello	The IR Remote does not work at all, there are no way to change the settings rather than switch between 45 different button arrangements all of which do not work. There's no way to specify a device or anything. And the ads, They are so persistent and cannot be skipped. I spent an hour trying to use this app with absolutely no success.
2022-12-03	Amena Nadeem	Life Saver I just got an old TV from my friend and she said she lost both remotes of the Roku express and the TV. I didn't try it with the TV but it worked with the Roku!! The problem is even the Roku app cannot control the device if it's not already connected to the WiFi. So this little app just saved me time and effort to buy a new remote!!
2022-11-17	Robert Mason	Tried for over 2 hours to get this app to control my 50" Emerson flat screen and in that time not one single thing I tried to link up to it and every single attempt failed horribly and only wasted my time where nothing worked, which includes changing volume, trying to change the chanel and not one single thing changed after all that time trying to program this fully compatible device to my TV that has absolutely no options to even manually change anything by button besides the on/off switch
2021-10-28	A. Boh	While the app does detect and recognise my TVs (unlike many other apps I tried), the remote itself doesn't work. I tried raising and lowering volume, muting, turning off two different TVs, etc... but none of the commands worked. There are also way too many ads. I understand that the app is free, but the type of ads and the way they're placed are making its usage (if it worked I mean) very disadvantageous.
2021-02-07	Carol Nicolaisen	Sorry, this app was really a waste of time. While I went through the list it had my TV listed selected It had my remote control listed I selected it. But the app never worked. And I do understand everyone's frustration with the constant ads. Every button you push brings up an ad. I respect the fact that ads are necessary. But I shouldn't have to respond to an ad every time I push a button. Even though the button didn't do anything to the TV. Lol
2020-02-23	A Google user	The app has a long list of manufacturers that takes a long time to scroll through and then you have to select your remote's encoding from a list with no scan function. If you get it wrong you have to sit through two ads and start over from the beginning. I don't have the patience to see if one of the ones I didn't try works with this method. Edit: I found the remote's model number. The program doesn't have it anyway.

Another person rated this a one because of the frustrations they encountered with finding their remote through the vast selections and the massive ads, but I tried it any way because ads don't bother me so much. They were mostly pop ups that could be quickly closed and a couple 5 second ads. My brand of tv only had 4 remote selections so it was easy to test each one. Except NONE of them worked! Sad.
2019-11-23	A Google user	Garbage. Ads up the (you know what) and it doesn't work. You are asked to choose your tv brand and then you have to pick what tv remote you have (from a list of about 60+). Goodluck! Tried a few of the remote models and they didn't work so I uninstalled. You'll have etter luck (and less time invested) with an actual universal remote for $15.
2019-11-12	A Google user	Just downloaded the app. Luckily, there were only there remote models for my TV brand. However, I tried all of them, but none of them worked. Also, an ad plays between every single screen, which got annoying pretty fast. I understand the need for as income, but make sure your app works first before you pilfer other people's money.
