2025-01-27 | I wish you could bookmark what you're reading. It keeps track of where you're at, but if you accidentally open another chapter, it will override the save, and you have to search again. would also be nice if the read next chapter button was lower from mobile reading. it's slightly annoying to have to read to the top of the screen the read every new chapter
2025-01-11 | It has a nice collection and is simple enough to use. However, the 100 chapter daily limit is pretty annoying. It would also be nice if it published the Shonen Jump versions of manga instead of the Tankobon versions. It's also missing a lot of huge Shonen Jump titles, like: Fist of the North Star, KochiKame, Slam Dunk, and Steel Ball Run.
2024-11-02 | It's hard to search for something new to read. The options are limited to the gimmick categories they have or the entire catalog. How would a new reader find an old classic or the hidden gold with this format. I love the manga and the opportunity to read it, but this seems like a whole that could be fixed with a search function with a filter.
2024-10-20 | Overall, great! The app is better than the website, even. Although, it's a little buggy. The main bug I come across is where the next chapter doesn't load from the end of the last. Normally, I can just go back to the chapter list. However, sometimes, the chapter list bugs out at the same time. When that happens, I'm then routed to a random chapter and have to go back to the home page to fix it.
2024-10-04 | fabulous app! my phone is really old and usually doesn't like working with to many apps but even with that i have never seen any problems and everything runs super smooth. On top of that they have a pretty decent selection of titles for a lot of series that i both love and ones that I've wanted to read for years!
2024-09-28 | Access to so much amazing manga. The subscription is a great value. I appreciate how reading progress syncs across devices. minor feedback on the Android app: I the bottom navbar was hiddenwhen reading to maximize screen space, higher resolution pages would be fantastic, and more control options (e.g., tap to turn page instead of swipe). All-in-all a functional app housing incredible content at a fantastic price.
2024-09-26 | I like it! Im new to manga and at first I was skeptical of the selection available but they actually have lots of great gems. As far as the app, its very convenient and easy to use. I could name a few things that could maybe be better but theyre so small that its not worth really complaining about any of them. App doesn't have any detrimental bugs or anything like that IME.
2024-09-19 | Minimum Viable Product. This app is a textbook example of that concept. I really want to give it less than 5 stars because they clearly don't care or maintain it at all. But the cost and even the free tier are so reasonable that it's worth the painfully minimalistic development. It works and has great content with consumer friendly prices but has zero customization or ui improvements.
2024-08-04 | Sometimes the app trips out if you've been in it for too long. There's not too much variety-wise with current up and coming manga, overall not a bad app subscription price is super affordable. I used to collect the magazines as a child up until they stopped printing in the states, it's nice to have all the updated Mangas available to read without having to buy coins or w.e webtoons is doing. 4.5
2024-06-19 | The app works fine with no glaring bugs. I like having such a large selection of regularly updated and translated manga right on my phone at a low cost. My recommendations to improve the app would be to let users disable the 'Wrong Direction' prompt that shows when scrolling the wrong way on the first page of any chapter, and creating a 'jump to' prompt when scrolling through long lists of manga chapters to find where you left off. |
