2025-01-17	Amy Sharron	**UPDATE** Here it's 01/17/25 & the issue hasn't been fixed with this app. I've blocked numerous calls that are scams, and the numbers are still getting through. Finally, I deleted all the scam voicemail messages off because it was full. This is ridiculous, Verizon! We have important calls that can't leave messages because of all these scam calls! This app is useless! For one, you block a number that keeps on calling, and it still gets through. Hey Verizon! What's the problem?
2025-01-03	Molly Schneider	I don't think in have enough space to list the ways this app sucks. The restrictions are limited, it's ridiculous that there is no identification for the trusted numbers listed. I have no way of easily seeing who's number is who's, and in this day and age, nobody knows actual phone numbers for most people. The companion app has rendered my daughters phone useless, not able to make calls or texts from trusted numbers or otherwise, and no data access. Mostly garbage.
2024-12-08	Buddy Sullivan	I am currently using the software,and we are having data block, tezt blocking and no internet without changing anything. I have now removed data restrictions all together,and the same thing is happening. Verizon and assurion tried, but I am about to remove and drop this software since this is also causing my phone to lose internet and in-house not be filtered being the parent/owner of the software. I'm sure what you did in November, but these last few days have been horrible and a waste of time.
2024-07-05	Rachel and Rob D	This app has never worked like it should and keeps getting worse with each upgrade. Location defaults to approximate if the phone is unused for a period of time (like overnight). When the location changes itself to approximate, then notifications don't work. Approximate Location is accurate to within a couple hundred yards, which is effectively useless. My child can easily bypass or remove the child app from their phone. It's obvious you don't care about helping parents keep kids safe
2023-12-19	Laura Williams	I agree with most others. The new updates are awful, especially the location function. It doesn't show real-time location like it used to. I wish I could go back and use the previous version. If this glitch isn't fixed, I may cancel and look for an alternative app to use. **Update 12/18/23. The location function seems to be getting worse. I'll be looking for a new app after the holidays.
2023-11-29	Christine G	Well, I was beginning to think I was losing my mind until I came here, and everything is explained perfectly. This app won't even open. It goes in loops back to the main screen for logging in. I have deleted the app and reloaded several times, and still nothing happens. Where is the old version that at least worked?? I did email Verizon about the issue. It makes it a tad more difficult to set limits on a teenager .. guess I'm going old school and taking the phone all together.
2023-11-29	Rachel Kuchar	I am trying to remove the restrictions on some of my lines. I can't get into the app. It doesn't even tell me if the password is wrong, it just says client error. So I tried to cancel Smart Family through my PC and it keeps saying there is an error, try again later. I can't even get a live rep to chat with, just a bot. Very frustrating because my elderly parents can't make phone calls after midnight! This was never a problem before, and now suddenly I'm getting cut off while talking.
2023-10-30	Dave Reeves	The new and improved version barely works. Gotta love when a new version breaks many items that worked perfectly on the old version. Edit: Reviewing the data today it showed my child didn't have any screen time, rides, etc., although I know they did. I watched them use their phone the last few days and I know they drove today. And their location is multiple blocks away from where they actually are. This system has become completely useless.
2023-07-24	Kandie Anderson	I love most everything about the app, except the location is usually inaccurate, and when it is accurate, it still does not show precise location, only approximate. I also feel like it does not give the parent enough control over what kids can get into on their phones. I have tried to troubleshoot this and it won't allow me to contact the help center in the app. Update 7/24/23: I have canceled this service. It never really did a very good job...
2023-04-25	Natolie Blanchard	JUNK! Constantly needing to be "fixed." Does not play well with Android. Works when it wants. Reached a point that the app renders my daughter's phone practically inoperable and have had to delete all restrictions and uninstall. So we will be canceling our subscription. Now, I have no way to monitor and limit my daughter when I'm not with her.
