2025-01-27 | bad customer service. just now for the small issues Uber will not help at all took one more star off because my Phone was in dark mode, then unpredictableyat 6:43 am while I'm on the highway , the app switch to say more for no reason at all, turning my phone into a blinding white light while I'm on the highway, and I can't adjust during a ride so I had to cancel. If I can't change settings during ride, I should get 1 cancel free a week or something | ||
2025-01-26 | I have only been with Uber for 2 weeks and they can not get simple changes done efficiently (like changing car color). Since day 3 I have asked them to correct my vehicle color and they haven't. I even submitted a photo of my car as requested. They communicate poorly, even telling me that it's been changed several times when it hasn't. VERY FRUSTRATING, I'M LEAVING IT WRONG AT THIS POINT (3 ATTEMPTS LATER)! | ||
2025-01-25 | Better than doordash, but they dont have a good way of filtering the deliveries you can take, so you'll get some trip that take way too long to deliver or too far. If they let you either decide where you wished to take dilveries or a max range around you to take deliveries, it would be better and safer. I dont like being forced to drive in areas that im unfamiliar with and areas that are difficult to navigate. | ||
2025-01-23 | Update: Now sends spam to your notifications. Sends advertisements for cars on top of how horrible this app has become. Now requires app to have Appear On Top active to use. I will not be using the app as long as this is a requirement. App also sends you to the wrong location, and Uber does pay for their error. It just says sorry you wasted your time and gas. | ||
2025-01-20 | Very average app with some good I opportunities. Still another app that doesn't stop customers from faking a tip to increase a fair for the driver to take it just to have that tip canceled and the driver not fairly paid at the end. While I get tipping is not mandatory, Uber Eats should only allow an increase or left at same amount of the customer already set their tip. If there is a delivery driver issue, Uber customer service can then be contacted. | ||
2025-01-18 | How many ways should a driver be able to accidently be able to cancel a delivery? Of course the answer sb ZER0. In fact it takes three steps to pick up an order including a final swipe but only one step to cancel an order and no swipe. When looking at what the customer has ordered it is very easy to accidentally cancel just by touching the screen. Confirmation may come up w/o you knowing. But still not even a swipe. Touch anything on the screen other than back and the order is cancelled. | ||
2025-01-18 | As others have stated the display over other apps feature is dangerous as it is distracting and blocks gps. Also it is inherently manipulative as there is no way to click into the app to see the map of a delivery. I use uber only as a backup due to the lack of a destination shown for rides. I once used this as a primary form of income. Unfortunately the driver experience continues to degrade over time. | ||
2025-01-18 | forced overlay is so lame. revert it to the way it was. i just go change it in my settings right after i activate it anyway. Also, the fact you can't turn off the delivery alert sound individually is seriously lame. Also, if you get stuck in traffic, they'll give your order to someone else, and you just spent 30 minutes on the road for noting | ||
2025-01-18 | Support is horrible. In live chat for an hour. Transfered 3 times. Just to be told there is nothing that can be done to help me with my issue. Was trying to complete a promotion but was having issues with a barcode provided by Uber for a shop and deliver order. The barcode did not scan at checkout like it said to do in the app. I had to find someone to help me checkout. This issue made it so I was unable to deliver the order by the end time of the promotion. They said there's nothing they can do | ||
2025-01-17 | The GPS voice navigation is suddenly fairly inaudible. I can barely hear it but I can't turn it up no matter how high the volume is on my phone. all the volume works fine on every other app on my phone including Google maps, I just can't turn up the vocal navigation on Uber something's wrong with Uber's nav. Also once the navigation voice does start speaking it mutes my Spotify music, and after the navigation is finished speaking the music never recovers to full volume on Spotify |
