This morning, the little trend micro icon that usually displays next to the clock, disappeared on its own. I saw it happen. Reinstalled the app and no icon. Is this normal or did someone get through and mess with my settings. The app option to display is checked. The pull down display still has trend micro is protecting displaying. Just watched it disappear , was wondering if I should reset my phone and reinstall the app . Thanks. (2nd day after I posted. If I get no reply, I guess I lll cancel.

Terrible experience. I tried this app with a free trial, and wow! What a horrible experience. It tells me to turn on permissions for the app to display over other apps, but when I click on those apps, it just takes me back to square one. After about 20 attempts, I cancelled my subscription. I need an app that works. This is not the old Trend Security that I used for many years. Try it out yourself and see. I myself will find a different app that actually works.

Overall I think this is a decent app. BUT the "mobile security is protecting you" notification you get EVERY time you open a fresh app is so aggravating. It's laid out directly over your keyboard, and doesn't allow you to begin typing for several seconds. Trend micro really needs to allow you to deactivate this type of notification while allowing it to run or make it significantly more subtle for not only this but it's other notification.

by far the most annoying app I've ever come in contact with. I'm choosing to go without protection just because this apps notifications are ridiculous. it won't go 1 full hour without clogging half your screen with useless notifications oh you turned off persistent notifications? thats ok. I just won't work in the background. ya know...the only time I'm ever useful

The security features of Trend Micro mobile security are terrific and do the job very well. Security features such as for text messages, websites, VPN, and so much more, cover all the bases for my protection. I additionally use Trend Micro for my laptop as well, and I am more than satisfied with the level of protection I receive from them. In my opinion, this is the best out there.

I installed Trend Micro to remove these constant notifications that my phone is compromised. It keeps saying my phone is optimized, but the messages keep coming. It may not be as comprehensive as it used to be when Housecall was free. Although, that was for a PC. This is an Android phone, and maybe the technology has not figured it all out yet.

Have used this app for many years on family plan for multiple devices. All of the handy features are gone. Users can no longer modify the Lost Prevention list to get rid of old phones or devices that are no longer used. I used to be able to renew all of my 10 devices at once on the website but now can only renew one licese at a time. The latest version is constantly asking the user to allow permission even though permission has been granted in the past. I contacted support with no resolution

It is very comprehensive, does not slow down my phone (or drain the battery) and gives me plenty of choices and actions to make so that I am in control. Would definitely recommend if doing online banking and making purchases online. Especially like the phone lock / wipe capability in case I lose my phone. Was already using this antivirus on my computer so didn't cost me anything to add on my phone, just had to register it.

After getting a new phone and installed the program, it was giving me a hard time installing it right. It asked for my password , security code , and was giving me second proof of identity where it sends you a code ( the code that was sent is at the last second ) of the time limit. So I input the code but won't recognized it. I did this in a total of 9 times . I got frustrated with the way it was going and might not get the program again for renewal.

I have used Trend Micro products for over 10 years. The only issue that I currently have is that the installation of the android app doesn't set up the correct permissions. I go through and set up everything that the app says to allow. Several days later I have to do it again...then again...and again and again. Please fix this!
