You need to think through the moment of communication between the client and the master better. despite all the minuses of which there are very few I recommend all the masters to use this application there so it will provide you with clients every day And you will not need marketers or a website for your business everything for this has been provided in this application
2025-01-22	Cj Cepe	This app is like a scam!!! For us pros they charge you as much as they can even if you don't get the job. The people that needs stuff done they should be charged as well when they contact us. It's bs how they can pick 5 pros but only one gets the job while the rest paid a certain amount each. So if your max is 40 they will charge that. Never tries to break it up so you can get several jobs. I wouldn't recommend having a unlimited budget since they will try to rob you as much as possible.
2025-01-18	Ty (Ty)	Good leads. But alot of bad leads. Could do better with issuing credits back to your pros. Soon you are going to be like home advisor... non existent bc you are unfriendly to your vendors. I've been stood up on payment more than once from thumbtacks leads and they don't investigate or make sure we get paid. This started out as a 3 start review, but the more I thought about the service, I think it's deserving of only a 1.
2025-01-08	Brian Nelson	I have been using this app for more than a year and it is complete garbage. I recently spoke with one of my regulars and they told me when they use thumbtack it requires they pick three people when searching for a pro which means each of us gets charged but they only choose one person. When you have maxed out your weekly budget you will get constant notifications, and I mean CONSTANTLY, for jobs in your area but when your budget wasn't maxed out you don't get anywhere near that many.
2025-01-05	Hazel Araujo	Good. Many of the leads are good, but I don't agree with being charged even if they don't respond back to a quote or when hiring other pros. I think small or starting businesses can't afford those expenses from scams or just no hires. I have no problem when we do get the job, but many do turn out to be scams or just hired outside of the app, and the job opportunity still shows as available.
2025-01-03	Yonder Is Gone	It's hotrible. Getting started? This can help. Monitor the card youre REQUIRED to keep active. They have a no refund policy. Dont trust the fine print. No refunds on leads assigned to you that are not in your profile or skill set that you've set. Credits are very few & far between. I don't care what they say. They don't do refunds. At very best %15 chance at a credit. Too many pros are allowed to be picked. All pay. Turning down job not in skill. You pay. Good luck!
2024-12-25	Cam Muraski	I get good leads prob 7/10 times, but customers can change the info so it bypasses the apps perimeters. Like dates, also. The customer can give you their info even tho they don't plan on hiring you. Loss of money, and thumbtack won't return any money. Also the customer can just stop filling out info as if they don't want to hire "anyone" then thumbtack bills you anyways, and the customer can bypass work filters by using vague info then you lost more money even tho you don't do that type of work
2024-12-24	Christian T	SCAM!!!! I tried it for a month and They do not have a customer service number. It is only automated. If you have issues you will never get contacted by them nor receive your refund as a "pro". The app is full of fake accounts that only message you so you get charged but after that they never message you back no matter phone calls, messages, voice-mail or email. Do not use!!! - Two "leads" also contacted me and not even 2 seconds in messaged them back and they do not return your message!
2024-12-14	Brian Dukes	The app is great for reaching those prospects who have specific needs and want the most bang for their buck. Servicing Thumbtacks clientele has been simple once they have chosen you for their job with the exception of scope of the work required. Many of them post a very brief description of their project and it is difficult to get the pertinent details without more information or opportunity to do a field survey prior to committing to do the job. The price per lead varies and can be affordable.
2024-12-05	Jorge Lemuel	Super bad App! It used to be a good one, but it's been happening that they're changing options for they own benefits and making more difficult to have jobs because they prefer to take advantage from the pros. For example, now you can't change the weekly budget until next week, now there are more customers just asking for advice how to fix it or which company is better to get a new appliance and when you ask for a refund, Thumbtack just deny it because I talked with the customer. Omg!
