| 2025-01-23 |  | | Love the content, but after the first few paragraphs of multiple articles, the rest of the story cuts off. I see from other reviews that this has been a problem for months. Most believe that it is a problem with their foldable phones, but mine isn't foldable. How they haven't fixed this issue in all this time is beyond me. |

"Customer Service" has been anything but. Autoreply to emails saying I may have to open the articles 2 or 3x. Well 10+ times & still black screen. | 2025-01-20 |  | | I have been a day one Athletic subscriber, and I visit the vertical daily. I like supporting the writers, and it is has made me feel more connected to my favorite sports teams. With that said, a bug has severely hampered my ability to read articles, and I'm ready to cancel my subscription. In the app, nearly every article randomly cuts off the text halfway through the story. And the browser version of articles act like I don't have a subscription half the time. Customer service is non-existent. |

I'm guessing it's getting confused because I used to have a NY Times account and now only an Athletic subscription. It won't even let me login on the browser either. Quite frustrating and I guess I'm going to have to demand my money back. |

The only way to see the article is to copy and paste the text into another application. This makes it almost unusable and certainly not worth the effort to read an article. |

There was such a well-written one today, that I'm reinstalling the app itself. I am not a big sports fan, but the writing in this publication is excellent: informative, engaging, intelligent, and inspiring. Thank you for a quality read. |
| 2024-11-25 |  | | The app design is excellent and usually presents the content extremely well. But the maintenance and support is lacking, to the point I've had to come here to report my problems. For me article\page loading has become very slow, sometimes completely stuck. I've seen others complain about persistent bugs and broken features that just don't get attention. It's a shame that the app isn't better maintained because the content is great. Please add an in-app bug reporting interface! |
