I was able to talk via 2 way communication until recent times. Now, the app wants permission to access nearby devices. Why? The app is also very slow to start many times. Jan 21 2025: App no longer starts. Shows a server connection timeout message. Looks like the app is not longer supported?

I finally reached a rep, the app has been discontinued. All services related to the app have been stopped and live support for any issues has been terminated. Wisenet Hanwha won't offer future support for any issues and all products and services relating to the app are now discontinued as the products reached the "end of life" as far as they are concerned. Even new camera models previously able to link to the Wisenet SmartCam app are incompatible with any future applications as well.
