Giving it two stars because the functionality works, but the way the service is set up is awful. You have to pay for a job in order to ask any questions. In my case I waited so long for responses back from the tasker that the 24 hr period for free cancelation was over. So I had to ask the Tasker to cancel on his end in order for me not to be charged the full amount (it was a 1 hr job). So awkward, and unfair to both of us. Why do they do it this way? I won't be using this service again no thanks

1. The app is extremely slow to start up. Takes literally seven seconds to get past the blank screen (on Pixel 8 Pro running latest Android). 2. Task's fee is not shown until after you pay for a task. Seems illegal. 3. Tasks don't have a status. Eg. my task has been completed, half a day later, still don't know what it'll cost me (what tasker reported) and the task status (if such thing exists) hasn't changed at all.

Customer service is terrible. as an act of good faith, they gave me a $45 credit. I emailed multiple times saying I didn't see the credit before booking again. they insisted it's there. The credit was never there! After I booked a second time, and was charged the full amount, they then gave me a credit in my account to use on a "future service". customer service is lying and giving me the runaround while I keep asking for the $45. I'm contacting my bank to get my $45!!!! y'all are a SCAM.

This app has gone way downhill. Terribly unreliable service providers who ALWAYS seem to cancel at the very last minute. It's happened to me repeatedly trying to find someone for a simple task over several days. I'm deleting the app! I can't be bothered with this. It must have bots as providers because the lack of professionalism on this app from its suppliers is monumental.

Just like Lyft, Uber, these guys also split their application into two apps. This one also has issues. The password reset doesn't work right between Rabbit and Tasker. They have one interface but two back ends. To figure it out you have to change both passwords. This is the type of IT that makes people do things the wrong way

TERRIBLE!! I used to use this app all the time for personal and work related tasks. Just this last time I logged in and they automatically selected my tasker and the hourly rate, without letting me choose who I want, or compare rates. I contacted customer service and they basically said "Oh well too bad. Go ahead and delete the app if you want." Done! Just booked my task on Thumbtack and deleted Task rabbit account.

I've never had more trouble with an app than this one. The app only worked the first time I downloaded it and now I can't access my profile. It would constantly load,but never connect even though I'm on Wi-Fi with a strong signal. I unstalled and reinstalled it, but that only made things worse. I've had to delete and redownload this app 13 times and restart my phone after each attempt. I still cannot access my account and it seems like I'm not the only that has had this issue. Use another app!

Customer service didn’t check on their side to determine why my passport picture for identity verification wasn’t working. On my side, I provided everything they requested. Yet, after several attempts to upload my passport picture, their system kept saying, “couldn’t verify, contact support,” which I did. However, I received no assistance, so I decided to remove my account completely.

The taskers cancel the tasks in the last minute. Very unreliable. They need to have a mechanism to ensure taskers are committed to the schedule. One tasker cancelled an hour before the task. In the week, I booked 1 tasker and my wife booked 2 taskers. All of them cancelled. 2 years ago the service was better. Unfortunately they have become super unreliable now. Make policies which will enable taskers do a good job.

Insane fees! It is not clearly explained anywhere before the task. They just mention a percentage of total will be collected as a fee. After the task is done and when its time to pay taskrabbit adds close to 38% as other reviewers mentioned. This doesn't include taxes or tips, they are separate. Whatever may be the reason, I don't appreciate the lack of transparency and clarity ahead of time.
