2025-01-22 | quite possibly the worst app I have purchased, solely because half the time it says it's recording but then doesn't record. I will spend like 30 minutes trying to record a track then it will randomly stop working. the midi is the only reason I'm giving 2 stars because it is fun to mess with but other than that I would rather use reaper
2025-01-09 | Is it just me or what? I can't find or figure out how to get my mixdown file. It really shouldn't be this difficult to send files to my internal storage, id email it but the files to big. I mixdown the song and i can find it anywhere. No point in this $30 app if you can get the songs out to share them.
2024-10-13 | So far it's worth the $30 I paid. Where it seems to excel are the areas that matter most for overall mix & production quality such as really good audio fidelity along with excellent sounding midi instrument samples. What I don't like is the fact I can't just export finished mixes into my device's memory- I have to share to another device, then SD card it back in.. but overall it does mostly do what I was hoping it would upon purchasing.
2024-04-25 | Running on a good tablet (Samsung Galaxy Tab S8+) is a great, and it's well worth the investment, with one major caveat - mixdown exports! When you mixdown for export as a FLAC or WAV, it's saved in a bizarre location in Android data that can only be access by connecting a laptop over USB, seriously?!! Where is the 'export to' option? Is is too much to ask to export files to an accessible folder on the device, or to SD card or to a cloud drive?? Or have I missed that option entirely?!
2024-04-14 | It is slightly better, and worse than fl studio mobile at the same time. The DAW has the ability to change time signatures in the middle of you making the song, and time stretch, but there are no slide notes, or even an insert space feature... But honestly, having both allows you to use both workflows on the go, which is better than nothing. (The team does respond pretty frequently though.)
2024-02-17 | So far it works great for me on my Android phone. Once in a while I might get a latency problem but no big deal as the final mixdown WAV file plays just fine with no problems. Was easy to get started & learn how to use ( still learning all it's nuances) and works with multiple midi keyboards. I also like the fact that you can save the mixdown file as a WAV or MIDI. And it's cool that you can import MIDI files from other music apps. I recommend using a good set of headphones when using the app.
2024-01-08 | When I try to make music it can be a tad bit glitchy sometimes. When I press on the track and edit notes and try to find a better sounding note the app starts playing a note for a long time and I dont see any piano keys playing. It messes up my flow. Sometimes when I try to play an instrument in the editor it will glitch and not process. Other than that, those are the problems Ive encountered so far. Its a really good mobile studio app to have just needs some fixing.
2024-01-08 | It is a solid DAW for Android, but so limited. I am really... really disappointed about how the functionality does not compare to the Apple version. Back in the day, Cubase was a strong competitor to Logic and gave non-Mac users a proper outlet for music production. But now that is not the case as iOS users get third-party support. The plug-ins Steinberg offer do not compare to the plethora of VSTs, AUs that iOS users can install. This needs to change in all fairness to make it a complete DAW.
2023-12-29 | App works well, but can't access the mixdown files.. which is, you know, sort of important for a DAW.... Some third party file explorers MAY be able to access the correct directory, but this is a bad and unsafe workaround (granting random devs full access to all files on your device), nor does it fix other apps not being able to access the files. As it is now it requires sharing to an external app and then redownloading. This is a bad user experience, please allow user directory choice.
2023-06-17 | Amazing App!!! I've been using this for over a year and it is just amazing. I've recorded mixed and mastered about 10 songs on it using a GO guitar interface made to port your guitar through the headphone jack and honestly this app is capable of way more than you would imagine it being capable of it is literally turning my phone into like a very small laptop made for mixing and mastering. There may be a limitation here and there but it's very minimal and most of the time it's user error. |
