2024-06-13 | I get the something went wrong error when trying to add a payment card to add money to the app. Tried multiple times. Update June '24: app still logs out and asks the same questions each time. Now it doesn't even refresh when you add money at the till, have to log out and log back in. Wasting everyone's time. Not to mention I still can't add money myself on the app using AMEX. | ||
2024-01-24 | I constantly have to reset my password to get the app to work. Even so, it works once and then It never allows me to login. Session expire almost immediately after a few seconds of trying to login. Very disappointing app. | ||
2023-09-22 | Haven't been able to get back into the app since April. Have been downloading and reinstalling the app at least once a month to try get in. Just get a "something went wrong" error. Staff inside Starbucks can't help, so I have months of unclaimable rewards. No point. | ||
2023-07-20 | Still cannot login after the update...keeps giving a "Something went wrong" message. Will this ever get fixed? 13/07/2023 - Still not working!!!! 20/07/2023 - Finally got it to work by using the forgot password at login, which I only happened to see on a reply to someone else on Twitter. I'm leaving 1 star for now because this is something that should have been communicated on ALL platforms. | ||
2023-07-13 | I've been struggling to log back into my app. Every time I try I get an error that's says "oops something went wrong" without anyway of contacting Starbuck. I Uninstalled the app and reinstalled it and tried to reset my password. The email i received wouldn't reset my password now I can't get back into the app. The rewards programme is great though but I can't use it because I can't get into the app. | ||
2023-06-24 | Update: The app is still almost unusable after the update. I've been unable to add funds no matter which method I try. This app gives me trouble EVERY single time I try to use it. It's ALWAYS slower than just paying cash/card. I always have to re login before it let's me use it, which is dumb. It often crashes when I try to reload my funds. Today when I tried to pay with the app, the attendant told me my account has been closed - despite having more than enough funds. Fix your app Starbucks. | ||
2023-06-18 | Worse app ever, always an error message when you want to use it. Spend so much at Starbucks, but can NEVER use this app. They are always experiencing technical problems and they say they are working on it. But this is an absolute useless app and loyalty programme!!!!! | ||
2023-06-13 | I've been have problems with this app since it launched. It does not store the biometric security option so every time I login it asks to reactivate it. At the moment the app won't let me login after a reinstall. Along with this the app has not updated my loyalty status. | ||
2023-06-03 | This app is horrible! Before the update, I had problems with it logging me out all the time (the new version does too) but at least I had no problem loading more money on to it! It just goes back to the original screen when I say I want to load R100 or R200 using Google Play and when I tried to add another card, I fill in the card information and verify the R10 payment from my bank and it just goes back to the home screen, with none of my details saved.....so frustrating! | ||
2023-05-24 | The app is unstable, I'm always having to log back in, payments through the app are sporadic. the latest update has rendered the app completely useless. I have updated the app to the latest version, I've reset my password and yet the server/website is still offline 3days later. I have a couple of hundred rand loaded on the app's virtual card that I simply cannot use. I am extremely dissatisfied and disappointed. the app is a pleasure to use when it does work. |
