Some employees state that loading money onto the app is mandatory to earn Stars, while others accept cash or GPay and allow me to earn Stars by scanning my membership barcode. This confusion is frustrating and affects the customer experience. Please train your staff to guide the customer for correct payment process for earning Stars to ensure consistent service. | ||

Do not get lured by discount offers on purchase via this app card. Seems like Starbucks is now a bank/wallet that is just one way street. Poor. | ||

Even the staff isn't aware of this and insist that preloading card with money is compulsory. The app itself keeps asking for notification permission on every launch. It also requires PIN / Fingerprint on starting instead of just for payments. Even after that it displays splash screen, 3 taps to start using the app after starting it. | ||
