2025-01-16 | Ads are extreme! Every click is a video. I went to turn my phone and hit a button and ad. I tried to go back to where I was (after ad)... another ad I forgot what I was looking for at that point.
2025-01-09 | Better off asking a weather app if it's going to rain on the 2nd thursday 3 months from now. It's about like playing darts blind-folded. The only redeeming quality is the information it provides on the dozen different breeds it will suggest is your cat.
2024-12-31 | A majority of cats are domestic short, medium, semi-long, or longhairs. They're mostly non-purebred from general housecat mixes including wildcat descendants of various world regions and of course, occasionally human-selected breeds. Unlike where many dogs are purebred or close, more than 90% of cats are random-bred. This scanner is "fun" for some color descriptions...not breeds. Tabby vaguely describes markings. "Calico" is a slang term for a color pattern. (Dog Scanner is good though.)
2024-11-26 | The good: worked fairly quickly and easily. The could be better: the access to the photo gallery is not typical and required a little fiddling to access my local images. The bad: 1) the app identified my cat, with SHOCKING accuracy, as a Calico. Not a breed. 2) the ad presentation needs some work.
2024-11-20 | This app told me my cat was a tuxedo. And then I got the would you agree then it tells me later that actually tuxedo is not a breed. It did answer my question my cat is a manx. Turn the next three tries it tells me it's a tuxedo. Tuxedo is not a breed of cat
2024-10-03 | scanner looked at the same cat photo twice and came up with mixed breed but with two different sets of cats. None of them looked anything like the cat in the photo. Needs a mountain size improvement.
2024-09-29 | Won't let you actually try the limited use option when you try to take a picture of your cat it just redirects you to payment options over and over. It will not identify your cat for free.
2024-09-19 | Wanting to test the accuracy of the app I put in 4 different photos of the same cat and got 4 different answers. 🤣 I still don't know what the cat is...
2024-08-18 | This app is so fun. I love the result it gives when i scanned all of my cats. And i learned about different breeds of cats as well
2024-07-24 | Unsure how accurate it is, since all of my cats are rescues and they are all disabled :-) so I'm not sure of their parentage. but it's sure fun to scan them and see what the results are |
