2025-01-12 | This app is great but if we have rows and columns seeting in the drawer ir woould be great after setting as default there is no option to set rows and coloum we have to go to system setting then go to apps then go to default apps there we get settings option from there we have to set and come back its irrtating every time to check which layot is great.
2024-12-27 | Outcome: Great launcher but niche This particular launcher features accessed stuff at a glance (i.e. apps and contacts) and you can search for the like in seconds. The launcher was found to have no bugs and is polished. It also stars in efficiency, working on budget phones (e.g. Nokia C22) However, the launcher seems like it was specifically FOR minimalists AND the launcher is quite basic, lacking the advanced personalisation features and the paddings were uneven too. Rating: 7/10
2024-11-23 | Unfortunate that this FOSS has gone to zippo apps. While monetisation is fine, implementing tracking-ads drastically and completely slow the app to a crawl. Unusable.
2024-11-08 | What are you guys nuts charging $9.99 a week to have pro version and The only difference between the free version is that you could change colors and it removes the ads. That's a lot of money. Silly
2024-05-16 | I followed a link from F-Droid to a website that promised a set of open source android tools with no ads. So i installed this and immediately saw ads!!! WTH! Edit: got a reply that ads are only shown on the free version. Sorry dev: that does not make it add free. It is quite misleading! You can't call it add free and show ads. Most apps offer an addfree option but they dont call themselves addfree
2024-04-10 | Until the developers went mad with greed last year, this & all other apps from Simple were very good & no annoying ads. I used three (3) or four (4) every day & some others probably at least monthly. Simple Launcher could be good for martial law police states. No more. Sad to see them go away.
2024-02-02 | Has the potential to be a really good launcher but I can't change the number of app icons that you can put in the dock seperate from the home screen so the amount of dock apps has to be the same as the amount of columns on the home screen. Also when I swipe to another page widgets went with it instead of staying on one page and one disappeared. Folders only went up to 16 apps and couldn't add anymore apps to a folder. Other than that it's a nice, simple launcher that feels fast and responsive.
2024-01-28 | Like it says, it's simple. Quite similar to the stock android launcher and I love that. I do wish we could use icons from theme packs but otherwise it's no nonsense and very easy to set up. Only issue and this isn't their fault, is Android 14 kinda broke 3rd party launchers (Not just here but all of them, and on all devices with Android 14) with folders. Meaning until Google can be arsed enough to deal with it, 3rd party launchers are a bit borked.
2024-01-13 | Constantly wipes all shortcuts from home screen whenever attempting to use its functionality to hide an app. ALL shortcuts not just the one attempting to be hidden. All still available in the drawer making this simply too frustrating and useless to continue trying with. Otherwise it is a decent app. But I needed it do only one job
2023-11-13 | Dosent remember widget settings after reboot or adjusting rows/collums. Like the clock that lets you choose transparent backround when placed. Or google keep notes, when you pick one of your notes as a widget. Resizeing widgets is not always working. |
