As others have reported, sometimes you must close the app to allow numbers to be used on the dail paf. Or the contact screen will be blank. If i knew of another dialer app that had a press to confirm option before dialing i would probably try something else. Update, I have a new phone and still have the same issue. Also since the first review I found that when you're on a call, and receive another call, sometimes the phone will ring but there will be no screen or way to answer the call.

They messed it up, dialer takes too long to load, constantly tries to connect to the internet (seen via a firewall app). Probably the simple app took a turn for data harvesting. It used to be clean and simple. The GUI stayed the same, who knows what happens behind the scenes. Annoyingly it keeps asking to rate it before use. When in a call and trying to get another call, or to form a conference, it all just drops. I use all of their simple apps line, hopefully they fix it.

Outstanding app, the only capability I'd like to see added is caller-id! Update July 12th 2024, a couple of months ago the dialpad quit working. This caused me so many problems that I had to uninstall the program. If you were to get the dialpad working again I would happily reinstall. Thank you

Simple Mobile Tools apps are usually fine, but the ads on this one are very invasive. I don't want to be forced to stare at ads every time I use my phone. At least make a Pro version, like many other apps you already have. Edit.. I see you have a premium version, but for $18.99/week?! Ha! Nope! Never would I pay that much just to be able to use my phone without being forced to watch ads. Quite disappointed in the developer. Uninstalling.

The app has been glitching for a few months now (about the same time it started requesting to be rated) I had enjoyed the app for over a year before issues came up, but have hit the point where I'm strongly considering discontinuing use of it. Since it began glitching it takes about 30 seconds to open the app, it primarily opens to recent calls vs the dial pad (which is what I have it set to), and most of the time it won't open the dial pad or contacts tabs even once the app is open.

I've been using the app for about a year now and my experience has been mostly good with the exception of the hard time I get trying to switch to a call while in the middle of another one. I have supported the app and paid the fee from the first day I installed it, and the reason why I did so was that I prefered paying for a simple app that didn't collect my data that to Google which tracks basically everything you do. This morning, I decide to update only to see that telemetry AND ads have been introuced! Even though I paid a fee for using the app, now they are asking for A SUBSCRIPTION. FOR A PHONE DIALER. What the hell is wrong with the devs to make you watch an ad before making a damn phone call??? Extremely disappointed and will be uninstalling as of finishing this.

The app is almost perfect. Only problem i have is it is very slow when switching between dialer, contacts, and call log. Sometimes, i have to close the app and re-open it after switching between those three screens. And other times it shows up after about 10 seconds... i paid to support this app because i want it to keep going and get better. If it weren't for this one slow glitch, it was exactly what i was looking for.

Long time purchaser. Have always rated your company's apps pretty well. Until recently, I've always been fairly happy. After this last update the phone dialer constantly ask me to rate it, ask me to do this and that. It now needs me to tap the refresh button on all of the simple apps after I have tapped the icon to open it. I didn't pay for your app to interact with you, to rate anything, to have to reset things. I purchased and used your app to dial the phone. Uninstalled. Rating? 1.

Used to be great. Why can't developers leave things alone if they work? After update, color changes no longer work, and it takes twice as long to launch the app. I hate orange. Blue was great. Now it says blue in the settings but it's still orange. I'll give you the stars back when you give me back what I liked about the app.

Original 3/22/24: This is a repackaged version of an open source app you can get without ads on other app stores. Update 4/9/24: Since they asked for a clarification with a boilerplate response, I will clarify that an ad popped up when I opened the Dialer app after I had been physically assaulted. I was trying to contact my husband in an emergency situation and was unable to make the call because I could not close the full screen ad.
