2024-01-28	Zsolt Molnar	Avoid this greedy company. In a software update they have unexpectedly and irreversibly removed the bluetooth remote controlling feature, and the older version of the app won't work anymore. They did so, so that they can sell you their own BT remote device for an extra $100. They claim this is for a security reason, but with the BT range of max 10m or 10 yards the mower must be very close to your phone that means it won't move unattended.
2023-04-22	Mario	With app 2.3.2.1, the latest firmware (winter 2022/23), and a Fairphone 4, the app finally connects to my RC 304 Pro. Progress after several years of not connecting, so kudos. The app also looks nicer although the features haven't changed much. In any case, though, the mower itself has worked very well and reliably for several years, so that's great and I'm always very happy to have it!
2020-11-03	Ralph Angelo	I did a great job installing the perimeter wire, only had to adjust in 3 different areas. The RS612 mower cuts very well. The app is ok but the remote control function only allows you to move the mower with the cutting blades stopped. I still haven't figured out the relationship between the app which is used to program, start and stop the robot on your cell phone And the web site that seems to contain the only method to schedule the mowers days and time to cut. Customer service ? Nope.
2020-09-21	Stephen Hill	Useless unreliable app. V1 app was also not reliable, but better than this one. V2 app been installed for a few months...usually refuses to connect even when stood right next to mower, then miraculously will start working. Tried all the usual things (re-start mobile device, toggle BT on and off etc. etc... Why can't developer s do a decent job on something that is integral to the use and enjoyment of something, which tbh is not a low price piece of tat...it deserves a worthy app: this ain't it.
2020-09-16	Remke Rutgers	In contrast to many other users I don't have connectivity problems. But I need the manual mowing mode back. I think it is completely insane to buy another mower for the small patches not easily reached via the automatic algorithm. Manual mowing is the main purpose of the app. All other things can be done via the mower itself. And seeing the reviews here, I am not the only user with this need. Robomow, listen to your customers!
2020-07-12	Derek Hillman	V1.0 was poor but V2.0 is worse. Very rarely connects even when I am standing next to the mower, it has less functionality than the previous version and the history only shows the the same 3 events from April 2018. This should be a really useful app, it has failed miserably. I have just bought a Flymo for my front lawns, their app connects instantly. Might have bought another Robomow if the app had been better.
2020-05-29	Ewald Van Der Helm	Great app. This second version is far more user friendly than the previous one. Unlike others I can confirm that connectivity with the mower is fine. Only it looses contact when at the edges of my large garden. I do not know why people say there is no manual mode. This option still exists and works well and available as a sub menu item under the 5 menu options.
2020-05-28	Adrian Lauf	Now has most of the features of the old app - some settings and capabilities are still missing. Wish it'd show you the next zone to be mowed whenever you want to check. Right now, it only shows it to you if battery is fully charged... By which point the mower is on its way again and you can't tell where it's going to go next all over again. Log entries are non-functional, and "next run time" generally doesn't display anything useful. This app was once MUCH worse, so this is better.
2020-05-25	BumblebeeDrgn	Worst update ever. At first glance its cute and intuitive, but thats just because they removed the useful features. Worst of all: They disabled the manual remote mowing feature, effectively meaning you WILL need to buy a second manual mower just to mow that 6 feet strip of grass in front of the house. I have a bad leg and using the app to remote-mow the yard was essential to the whole purpose of owning this pricey product, and it is now rendered useless because of a crappy app.
2020-05-17	Quantom	Clean looking UI, easy to operate. Connection seems better since update 2020, sometimes still drops out but less. Now it's useable. Manual mowing is removed, why ? Missing some essential features such as seeing the battery percentage and naming the starting points. Also more starting points would be nice. History never seems to work. This robot needs more intelligent driving routines and some BT to WiFi gateway to make it great.
