2024-12-01 | App used to work until the last update. Now none of my drives will mount, and they were fine before the update. Do you developers NOT TEST so called "improvements" before you push them on us? This app is nothing short of amazing! No matter what file system is on the external drive, once connected to my android phone I can immediately move or copy files in either direction! Thank you for this great app!
2024-10-11 | It works just fine for reading and deleting files (more than my phones built in file manager can do) but with it forcing you to use Total Commander I can't find a way at all to copy files onto my USB, I can select a user defined location but it just does nothing when trying to select this plug-in within Total Commander, if I could copy files onto the USB then it would be a instant 5 stars.
2024-09-29 | Automatically pops up to mount, nice. An earlier poor review by me was incorrect ... I had forgotten the following for my OnePlus phone: Some phones require you to enable OTG or something similar to connect USB data cables. My OnePlus 9 5G requires that and gives me 10 minutes to connect before it turns it off for security. My Samsung Galaxy A54 doesn't require that, just plug it in.
2024-09-19 | I think it must be difficult to make an app that manages NTSF for Android USB. Two or three other apps just didn't work or they were poorly designed. This one has worked for me. And you don't need an external file system app. There's a little blue circle on the bottom right. Use that to find files and copy or move them to your USB storage. It's slow. I think that has more to do with the file system and adapting the, non NTSF, data stream from Android to the memory card. 512 GB SD/ pixel 8
2024-09-06 | Reliable access to NTFS drives from phone. I travel with flash drives and adapters, including 4TB+ SSDs. It's not convenient to boot up the Windows laptop just to send a customer a file. I plug that puppy into my phone, browse & send. Also saves space on the phone's internal storage. The price for this app is well worth the incredible convenience. I have never had problems accessing any drive that I could access from a Windows PC. One of the single most useful apps on my phone, full stop.
2024-07-25 | Professionally developed app by company who specializes in this sort of thing. They have to pay licensing fees, plus development, so don't resent the reasonable, one time, app cost. Make sure to give permissions and mount and unmount drive. Highly recommend X-Plore FM. Have used with multiple devices and phones since my Note 4. Make sure cord quality is good and rotating HDs have power. USB connections are not always solid, so be wary of movement. Read no exFAT for TV so use NTFS with this. 👍
2024-07-02 | Reliable, especially considering the motley mix of drives it's mounted and given me access to: powered external hard drives; old, beat up thumb drives; etc. Have had the paid version for years--worth it. I'm not thrilled with Total Commander: the file manager in makes you use. I find it counter intuitive, at best. Also, your success may vary depending on your phone and its version of Android(?). NOTE: if the drive you're mounting requires external power, get the appropriate powered cable/dongle
2024-01-18 | It simply not often enough that a valuable function comes in a quality app that not only let's you try it free long enough to get something done, not only does so without snaring you with a subscription payment at the end of the trial, but without even presenting the option; instead offering only the one-time payment to OWN what youve payed for outright. It's a nice feeling purchasing your product, in the certainty it will be utilized before I'm required to pay for what I've already bought.
2023-04-18 | Straight up does not show NTFS formatted USB drives. I've tried two different USB drives, two different phones with multiple restarts, and multiple reinstalls this app. The only conclusion I can come to is that it simply does not do the thing it's advertised as being able to do. At least it shows two pages of privacy policy before you can use the app, in case you were curious if this app is harvesting your personal data (it is). Shame on you Paragon, delist this app if it doesn't do the thing!
2022-04-12 | Bad app, lost money. It doesn't mount the USB drive per se, only provided some way of copying files and it crashes pretty often. If it was really mounted I'd be able to open the files without "downloading" them first. After a few minutes of copying it lost the usb drive and never found it until reconnected. Unstable buggy ftp-like app, that doesn't really mount. |
