2024-06-04 | I've had this installed for some time now, it constantly loses connection with the base unit. I've had to reconfigure it a number of times. Has finally stopped working, cannot connect to base unit at all. Certainly would not recommend this app.
2024-04-15 | The application is not working. It keep asking for app permission, even all permissions are given. No restrictions applied, one star rating Update 15-April-2024 The app now is working perfectly after last update on January 2024. Change into 5 star app.
2023-11-07 | When I got the related phone and installed this app on 2 mobile phones at home, ,it used to work properly, and was so useful to us, but recently I've changed my phone to Galaxy S23, but when I installed it again it notified that the required permissions must be accepted. All were allocated, but it still notifies to get those permissions!! The latest version 3.0, has still got the same problem. Too poor app. Hey Pana, don forget ur breakthrough-hunter custoers.
2021-12-05 | At the moment this app is working extremely well, after a period when it didn't work at all. It gives us access to the landlines all over the house and had all the features you'd expect from your phone: call log, recorded messages etc, but on your mobile. Original set up was a bit clunky.
2021-04-08 | Works if you don't have wifi calling on , but that makes it useless to me as I have to have wif calling on as no cellphone reception where I live, They have updated the app and now it won't even connect, Panasonic you are terrible and I can see why you are a failing phone company. Massive waste of time and money. WILL NEVER BUY ANOTHER PANASONICE DEVICE WISHED I HAD NEVER BOUGHT THIS JUNK
2021-03-26 | I am sorry to say I am having a number of issues with this app. 1. The most annoying is that periodically stops: status bar icon disappears, and it won't react to landline calls. It is not a crash, at least there is no system notification about the app crash. It always happens the same way: I start the app at home where the base station is, it connects to the base station and works fine, then I go out, the app loses connection with the base station (icon turns red) but keeps on running, but when I check the phone after I returned home the icon's gone and the app is not running. 2. I cannot make intercom calls between two smartphones. DECT handset to smartphone and smartphone to DECT work fine, but other smartphones are just not listed in the intercom list of the app. 3. It is a bit of a battery hog. Not a horrible drain-your-battery-in-a-hour hog, but it is the top battery user on my phone by far. Later: It wasn't good and now it became even worse: why the heck version 2.7 needs access to camera? Why not only it requests access to location but refuses to work if it is not on? 2.6 didn't need any of it and worked... well, not very well, but it worked without it.
2020-11-02 | It is outdated app it has bugs and annoying sounds when making calls and it cut calls and consume power when it is on standby mode. In general it is not meet my expectations.
2020-09-23 | Using it for the past month; Works as advertised... but has too many annoying bugs for a Panasonic brand; Able to make and recieve calls from my Galaxy Note Lite and also a Oppo v7. An update with bug fixes will make this unique product more appealing. The overall experience is only as good as the app experience. Following are what I found: i) Occasionally when starting the app, it keeps vibrating/ringing even though there is no call. Workaround is to force stop. Very annoying. ii) Battery usage is high. Annoying. Please profile/optimize the app. iii) Behaviour on lock screen is unpredictable -- unusable/disabled it iv) UX -- please use more soothing colours in the call log and 'more' menu. The magenta is too jarring to the eye.
2020-08-21 | It would be nice if the connection could extend beyond home WiFi. It is achievable with Invoxia Voicebridge. And no more updates after 2018? Shame on Panasonic.
2020-05-26 | Absolutely useless. I could do better than this with my limited android coding experience. Excellent landline phone, excellent concept to connect to smartphone. Android app absolutely useless. Very expensive landline phone, so pull your finger out Panasonic and provide a half decent app - or contact me and I'll make one for you. |
