2025-01-07 | I just need basic functions....like a timer for my photos. My camera isnt acknowledging its timer for some odd reason but this app has given 0 help with control over basic stuff. I cant even get the bluetooth functions to work let alone show up on my phone at all. Right when I need this app- everytime it seems to fail in one way or another. My camera itself fails in other ways I was hoping would be compensated here; nope. Its like adding a pair of incapable hands to the room.
2024-08-25 | The app was never great, and then it stopped connecting to my phone entirely. This isn't a huge deal breaker for me, but I fail to see why, in the year 2024, it should be THIS hard to reliably transfer photos to my phone. Camera is FZ1000II, phone is a Galaxy S21. These are not obscure devices, and this lack of functionality (which my 11-year-old Nikon Coolpix NAILED) is deeply disappointing.
2024-06-30 | DC-TZ95 user. The WiFi connection with the camera is sometimes a little shaky at first, and may require a restart to get all features working, e.g. the autofocus button. Unsure whether that's an issue with the camera or the app. Once it gets going, though, I've found that it's reliable enough to successfully control the camera for a few hundred shots in a row.
2024-04-27 | I have had absolutely no problem using this app. Everything works properly, from connecting to the camera for live control, to transferring photos and videos. BUUUUUUT... once I updated to the latest version of the app... I couldn't connect to the camera anymore. I had to get an older version of the app by downloading an apk from a third-party website. After doing this, it worked again.
2023-12-04 | Absolutely useless. May have worked once upon a time, but is entirely unable to connect to and share photos with new phones/tablets. Attempting to connect over any of the options offered on Lumix cameras results in a continual loop of trying to connect, then the app telling you to close it and try connecting so you can open the app to connect. It's beyond idiotic. It's almost as bad as Panasonic autofocus.
2023-04-04 | I recently bought a Lumix camera, and while the reviews for this app were bad, having the ability to transfer pics via wifi was very appealing. After installing and trying to use the app, it is clear that Google needs to allow zero-star reviews. This app is terrible to the point where it's completely unusable. It's atrocious. I'm probably going to just return the camera. In fact, if wifi/bluetooth connectivity is important to you, buy another manufacturer's camera.
2023-04-01 | Soo unbelievably bad. I'm by no means new to technology and I can't connect my phone to my camera for the life of me. I have tried to connect the camera to a Galaxy S8 and a S23 both with no luck. The app gives you multiple means to connect the devices and none of them seem to work. Very glitchy and poor interface that looks unfinished. Unfortunate that I still have to go the route of putting the SD card into my computer to get the images in 2023.
2022-07-19 | This app his been more inconvenient for me than convenient. When I want to take photos remotely, they are always terrible in quality. I tried taking ISO 80 photos at night to see the stars and the photos were pitch black. When I tried taking family photos remotely, they were absolutely grainy and low res looking. The same has happened on multiple devices and the preview always looked better than the photo. On my FZ80, my photos look fine normally. I also find transferring files is better off-app
2021-12-25 | 10/05/18 Worked great until yesterday and now it refuses to connect to the camera. Loved using it before. Now it's completely worthless. 12/24/21 For a couple years it actually worked great. Today, I open the app and it keeps wanting location permission which I already granted. Now when I transfer photos I can't see them anywhere on my phone until I go back into the app and click on the image it says is there, go back out and then it shows up. This is unnecessarily complicated.
2021-11-19 | I have loved the app until the last update. Last night, my phone updated. Now, I can't use the app. It keeps crashing when it is trying to connect to my camera. I even restarted my phone and reinstalled the app. It opens the app and tries to connect and then crashes. I got a notification that the app has a bug that is making it crash. |
