| 2025-01-17 |  | | App was phenomenal for many months until one day it just stopped doing it's job with the vpn browsing. Lost all open tabs and recent history as a result. Very disappointing because it was/is lighter and faster than the regular app. Went thru settings many times to find they had changed. finally un-installed & installed reg Opera. (Which Works well btw) |

Often just hangs up on web pages when you click a link, doesn't give a progress bar or any indication that anything is happening. Good ad blocker, however inserts its own ads! And every update brings more useless home screen links and soccer stuff that I just don't care about! |

Once this is fixed this is again a five-star browser, until it's fixed though, it's almost unusable. If you interact with the app in the wrong way, not sure how, but it reduces the app display to 1/4 of the screen. You can't return it to the normal size until you force close the app, and until you do it follows you everywhere making it impossible to interact with it or other apps it's transposed over. TERRABLE feature! - 3 stars until this gone |

It is supposed to block interruptions - instead it creates them with countless notifications to articles WHICH ARE NOT THERE. Either the link is broken, or there is one line of some text which is so small [Later: "Error: Undefined domain name."] that it cannot be read - even with a magnifying glass. This used to be a useful tool, which is why I have not s-canned it yet. I have updated multiple times, but no fix! |
| 2024-07-29 |  | | Opera mini is fine. Have been using it for a few years, and besides the desktop mode, most of the updates have been meh (desktop mode was great). This latest update though, now everytime I open the address bar, it shows trending Google searches, which is annoying since there's no option to disable it. It's not a deal breaker as typing anything makes it go away, I just don't see the point of adding it to the browser I can go to the website for that. |

Can't find it. Now, I will keep the app despite not getting sports in my country. But I won't make it my regular go to browser. I'll use the one on my phone too. I think that's fair enough, don't you? |
| 2024-07-05 |  | | I love using opera mini, it's a really nice app, great Job But the ads, pop ups are really annoying, pls do something about the ad blocking, brave browser aggressive ad blocking is really impressive, no pop ups, no annoying ads whatsoever. And the desktop feature doesn't really work well, it's not efficient, some sites crashes or no change at all when it's turned on, pls fix this also. Thank you. |
| 2024-06-05 |  | | Its alright, and has some download features that the main opera GX browser doesn't have that I am a fan of. I was unable to download that version on my older phone and had to settle for this one. It feels like an almost completely different browser. Opera GX has no ads, is a bit easier to navigate with, and is generally a better experience overall. If you have the option, just download the actual GX app. However, if you don't, you can settle for this and still get something better than chrome. |
| 2023-12-09 |  | | Edit: Reduced to 4 stars. They've added an annoying persistent popup that covers the bottom of the interface that says an update is available begs you to restart. And you can't turn the notification off! Updates are notorious for breaking what wasn't broken, and I choose to update only when something is wrong. Rendering the interface partially unusable to impose unnecessary updates is a terrible, terrible idea. |
